Well, our year's work has paid off. We wrapped and delivered gifts for 1 104 children this year. The organizations who provided the children's lists to us picked them up and will give them out to the children's parents in time for Christmas. We hope each child loves the clothes and toys chosen for them. Merry Christmas one and all!!!!!!!

I would like to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving for next week. You may or may not know, Santa Old Broad's will be shopping at The Stage for the children Monday, November 27 at 9 o'clock sharp. We invite volunteers to come help us shop. If you're interested just be at the stage the 27th at 9 o'clock. We will give you a shopping bag and put you to work.

Wrapping day this year will be December 3, at the community center at 1 o'clock in the afternoon. Once again we invite volunteers to come help us wrap these gifts for the children.

For Santos Old Broad's, we are approaching our busiest time of the year. During this month, we have been assisting the Delaware County Chiildren Special Advisory Network, by calling on businesses in the community and asking for donations for their Winterset project. Any donations we receive will be available for their silent auction. WINTERSET is held annually and this year will be on November 11th.

We will also be conducting our annual project which is Christmas for the c...hildren of Delaware County. As we do every year, we will be shopping for the children on November 27, 2017, and then doing the wrapping at City Hall on December 3rd. Each year, we welcome volunteers from the community who would like to help us shop and/or wrap, whichever you're available for and we would love to have you, if you would like to join us on those dates. For more information, you could reach me at 918-786-8416.

Thank you to all that helped us wrap for 125 children today. We had Uptown Dancers and ladies from the Good to Go with Patti Beth tour last Thursday! The SOBs outdid themselves with goodies. Thank you Stage and Michelle Smith for all your support.

We are actually up to 124 children. This weekend we are doing concession for the KISS Srapbooking Event here at the Civic Center. The shoe order was turned in to Stage Department Store and within hours, they had all of it filled. SOBs Kay and Sandy have receipts. The shoes are stored until we finish shopping Monday, Nov. 28 at Stage at 9 am. Manager, Michelle Smith, left, has coupon books that will be at our book table to use over the weekend and through November. We couldn't do this without them.
