Yesterday we officially stepped over the threshold into a feminist movement that is not standing down. We rise to our values and showing up to protect all that we consider sacred. Men and Women, Children and Grandparents, all colors, nationalities, religions, ages, sexual orientation, social economic position, and yes, political position, all facing the same direction and saying, "NOT ON MY WATCH" and thousands of other messages as so proudly demonstrated on posters. This was not only a message to our administration and public servants, but to women everywhere that we are not alone and our brothers are with us!

Dearest Family & Friends. Thank you all for the outpouring of LOVE and PRAYERS for Mike and our family. We have lovingly arranged a few events to honor Mike and... his brother James. If you're available, join us for MIKE’S FUNERAL SERVICE this Saturday, February 10th from 1pm to 2:45pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2150 Bonita Canyon Drive, Newport Beach, CA 92660. The church is located on the left side - do not go to the temple on the right side. The viewing and reception will follow the funeral service. Please try to carpool and arrive by 12:45pm for parking. RSVP on Eventbrite by 2/9 at 1pm so that we'll have a good count for the reception. Thank you and please help us share this info with others who know Mike, but are not on Facebook. There are a few other events planned, if you can't be with us for the funeral service. Click here for all the details: https://miketesimalesfuneralevents.eventbrite.com

This is the Invocation I said at the beginning of the Women’s March on Saturday morning:

In English: Oh Holy Mother we call upon you this day!
Send us the Sacre...d Winds from every Direction. We ask for the blessings of the Mother Bear, the Mother Doe, the Mother Eagle, and the Mother Wolf. We ask blessings from Grandfather Sun and Grandmother Moon and the starry path of our Milky Way! May each step we take be a prayer honoring our Mother Earth.
We call upon the memory of our beloved Grandmother and the beginning of our Juaneño/Acjachemen people-
Korroni, who was a powerful woman, a strong and fierce leader and yet loving and wise. Oh Holy Mother we bow our heads for your blessing.

These are my encouraging words that morning:
Oh beautiful people, let us walk gently upon our Mother Earth this day. let us be fierce and empowered with every breath we take! Let us reclaim our innocence and find our voices! Just like the starry path of the Milky Way, May we be a giant ribbon of light as we walk together as one! For remember “We are Stardust, We are Golden “( just like Joni Mitchell’s song from the 60’s) and we are recreating the Garden once again in a good way and we are doing it for the generations to come!
