This is a great museum. But I feel compelled to give one star after I was asked to sit in the children’s area and to breastfeed my child there because no one wanted to see me breastfeeding her while w...e walked around. I had her in a baby carrier and it was barely obvious that she was nursing. I was blown away, to say the least. I let them know that there was a law protecting breastfeeding moms and that she legally couldn’t ask me to sit to nurse her. See More

One of my favorite museums in the world... ever! Great for kids who will ask a slew of questions and will be fascinated by the planes... which are up close and personal. Many retired combat vets are o...n hand to answer questions and tell you their stories. Love this museum! See More

I love that there is a place like this and that it is in San Diego. I always learn something new. The special exhibit always changes and it's always fun to learn. I also like the wall of fame with ...people that really have made a difference in the world, but most of us don't know at all; it's good to learn about them too. I also of course like the 4D and planes and other historical artifacts that they have. See More

Boring. Its not interactive. Theres pictures of stuff instead of actual artifacts. Theres a few nice things but it takes about 30 min to see everything so not even worth the money on the ticket. Wish... theybwould add more things to actually be able to explore. Theres hardly any space stuff ( a planetarium would be nice to learn about space and planets) theres lots of air planes though not why i went. See More

It was the company I was keeping that I loved the most. Friends from high school that I hadn't seen in 36yrs. We're all born and raised in San Diego, but my friends have been away for over 3 decades f...or the most part. So they wanted to do the tourist thing while they were home for a week. See More

There is a lot to see and learn. I wish I had more time but unfortunately I had to rush through it. There are virtual rides there that seem pretty cool and for an additional five dollars you can learn... about and pretend to operate a space shuttle. See More

Excellent museum. Very fun and educational for young kids. Loved the historic timeline of mankind's dream of flight from Leonardo DaVinci to present day. As an aircraft mechanic I think I might've had... more fun there than my kids did! See More

It was a wonderful experience! Our son was sad that his hero Burt Rutan was not on any wall. Other than that, we had a blast!

This was disappointing , the Museum needs a complete update and a complete dusting! Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time.

Fun for the whole family. Their NASA exhibit where you can be an astronaut for a day was really wonderful and quite educational for the children.

This is an a,axing museum, so much rare aircraft memorabilia and air craft in a small venue. I really enjoyed it and will go back again. A must see in Balboa Park!

If you ever find yourself in the beautiful city of San Diego, a trip to the San Diego Air and Space Museum is an absolute must!

With a world-class display of memorabilia, artifacts from the early day...s of spaceflight right up to the modern day, this place will absolutely knock the socks off anyone with the slightest interest in aerospace!

Cannot recommend highly enough. Could have spent all day there and can't wait to return!!

We really enjoyed our time here yesterday. So much aviation history packed into one place. I also love the fact that parking is free. The only complaint I have is lack of ventilation and fans. I under...stand it's an old building, but fans work too. See More

I drove a group of high school students down yesterday. They were scheduled to take a tour, but the people giving the tours used microphones and the students could not hear what was being said, so th...ey quickly lost interest! The teachers said they would probably not schedule the guided tour again. See More
