We had my father's funeral mass yesterday and it was a beautiful mass. Father Ray lifted me up (and my family) and my father in prayer and Pat was so kind to us. We are blessed to be part of Saint M...atthew's Catholic community. Thank you See More

We have been winter residents(October thru May) since 1984, and really feel that St. Mathew is at its most vibrant, most welcoming, most inclusive and most helpful right now under the pastoral guidanc...e of Father O'Brien! We have so much going on for all ages, including "Financial Peace of Mind', AA/ Alanon/Yana, the Rock and Rejoice Music Group fosor our Young Musicians, "That Man is You", a support, sharing and discussion group for men, and we serve mission meals and do much social work in the area too!! We have a golf cart to get to and from your car, if walking is difficult too!! Come, join us! We welcome you!! See More

We didn't actually stay. My husband is 82 and suffers from ringing in his ears. The loud sound equipment and thumping was not appropriate for us, but we were greeted by some very friendly people. A ...lot of people seem to really enjoy mass at this church and we think that is wonderful. See More

I have been there while we were still in Florida last year, 2016 and what I can say is that it's a beautiful Catholic church. Once you started to knell in their kneelers, you want to knell lon...ger because the kneelers are made of very good materials. Yes, you are kneeling but it seems you are not kneeling at all because it is soo soft compared to other parishes. It's so comfortable like seating in a beautiful expensive Sala in any 5 star hotel in all part of the world. To be there would be a great experience with their assigned Parish priests....Congratulations...! See More

For those who know/remember Fr. Sean Heslin who was pastor at St. Joseph's WH, he will be celebrating 50 years of ordination on Sunday, June 11, at the 10:15 am Mass at his parish, Our Savior's Cathol...ic Church, where he is pastor emeritus.
The parish is planning to honor him with a scholarship endowment fund for the parish school. if you would like to contribute, please send check to Our Savior's Catholic Church, 5301 N. Atlantic Blvd, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931.

A little over ten years of service and a whole lot of memories as a child. However, as I grew into an adult I noticed the change from a traditional setting to a more modern facility. Perhaps it was th...ose changes that brought distance within the community and its members. Traditions aren't always meant to be held, but changing them radically is not wise either. It's fair as all churches are, but it's really what the community makes it. If you come to this church, then enjoy it with your community. But if it's too much trouble to shake someone's hand, just buy a damn pocket bottle of hand sanitizer and move on with your life. The church needs to evolve past the wants of the community and cater more to the needs of the community. Of course not everyone acts that way, however it is readily noticeable. See More
