The Black death was spread by humans, and may have come from the interaction of a comet tail with our atmosphere. Comet Elenin's close pass in a couple of months...it'll take time for the earth to pass through its tail, and for anything it might be carrying to pass through our atmosphere. Apparently Richard Hoagland (the guy behind the 'face on Mars business) is now saying that Comet Elenin is a "piloted UFO". He (and other wingnuts) are being hosted by Kerry Cassidy of 'Project Camelot' to disseminate this nonsense. If there is another mass suicide like the 'Heaven's Gate' madness in 1997, then these people will have blood on their hands.
