This class is geared towards kids in K-3rd grade and will be held on Thursdays fro...m 5:30-6:30pm in the Dawes Ave. Gym for six weeks. It’s beginning to look like a beautiful rock garden at Jordan Road School! The garden is based upon the concept of individuality and the fact that there is only one you (based on the book by Linda Kranz) and we are all an integral part of our community. All students & staff members will be creating a rock to be placed in the garden.

Jordan Road Parents Group was feeling excited.

Holiday Family Fun Night is scheduled for December 7. We will have our big planning meeting tomorrow at 6:30 in Jordan Road School (Wednesday). We are always ...looking for new ideas for games, crafts and raffles. We need volunteers for this to happen.

On November 1st, a Mexican Cultural Celebration was held at Dawes Avenue School by the Bilingual Parent Advisory Council. The night included authentic Mexican cuisine prepared by Somers Point parents, crafts, dancing, sugar skull themed face painting and more! The event was a huge success, with hundreds of Somers Point community members in attendance to celebrate Mexican Culture on Dia de los Muertos-- the Day of the Dead!
