Yes that's right, Mad & Mil friends if you want to catch an early glimpse of steez 3.0 before the infamous STEEZ BOAT CRUISE IN 2 WEEKS on 6/20, we will be playing right smack dab in the middle of Madison and Milwaukee...well slightly south, at a sweet lil spot called In Good Spirits! W1909 Main St Rome, WI 53178, south of Concord by Sullivan, near where Jam for Jam is at...you'll find it!
On the road again! Winter is over and Barry White is ready to take on the roads by storm... We are beyond thrilled to announce the addition of our new drummer and beatmaster, Alex Roberts. Trained in the art of jazz, funk, and breakbeat by the Mighty Joe White and drummer of the math core duo, The Central, this duder can definitely slap those skins. We cannot wait for you to hear what we have been cooking up! He will be making his steez debut this weekend as we hit the road after a brief two month hiatus. Our first show in the steez 3.0 era will be at none other than The Glass Hat in Wausau, WI this Friday, May 30th, followed by a sure-to-be barnburner at Barley & Hops in Oshkosh, WI on Saturday, May 31st. We have so much love for these venues and cities and are super pumped to rock out with you all after our time off. Get ready to dance! Other big news: 6/6: steez in Rome! Wow! What an incredible evening. Thanks to the 300+ peeps that made the trek all the way from Minneapolis, Rochester, La Crosse, Milwaukee, Chicago, Oshvegas, Green Bay, and the entire hometown crew for making Raab's send off party incredibly special for everybody. At the High Noon this Friday! We will be throwing an all night steez party in celebration of Raab's 7+ years with the band! We are also excited to announce that Kamino will be kicking off the show and Antic Studios will once again be bringing their visually stimulating projection mapping skills all the way from Minneapolis! Lets do it.
If you're on the west coast of WI tonight, come rage with us at the Popcorn in La Crosse as we play our 2nd to last show with Raab and celebrate the life of Aaron Lee Dizon. We'll be thinking of you brother. Wish you were here...
Come celebrate with us at the High Noon Saloon Friday March, 28th as we play our last show with the infamous creepfunk time keeper, batter master, pocket precision player, and one hell of an all-around amazing drummer: Rob Bessert! We can't begin to express all that Rob has brought to the creepfunk dinner table over the past 7 years but here are some words from Raab himself: "Hello Steezburgers! I’m sad to say that after over 400 shows, 18 states and countless memories, I will be hanging up the old hickory sticks as drummer for the Creepfunk originators, STEEZ. It has been an amazing run but unfortunately every good thing must eventually come to an end. Words really can’t express how proud I am of everything that we have accomplished and I would like to sincerely thank everyone who has supported us over the years and made the whole experience so incredibly special. Without all of the love and support you have given us, none of this would have been possible. I would especially like to thank my partners in crime Matt, Steve, Chris and Andrzej. It has been an honor playing with you guys through the years and I truly love you all like brothers. Though my era with the band is coming to an end, I am very excited to see what happens in the next chapter of the STEEZ saga as this is certainly not the end! So please come out and party with me one last time at one of my favorite Madison venues, the High Noon Saloon! Love, Raab" There will be lights, there will be tears, there will be two heavy funkin' sets of creepfunk...
