Hey, what are you looking at? Never seen a squirrel? Now that warmer season is upon us, plenty of squirrels are out on the loose. This one I captured in my neighbor's yard one fine evening as I was coming home. It did seem like it was having conversation with me Did you know that q squirrel’s front teeth never stop growing? © Sachin Sawe #squirrel #squirrels #funnyanimals #animals #yard #green #portrait #pose #standing #lookingatyou #sonya7rii #a7rii #sony70200f4

Pompon & Ball Dahilas: Dahlias are breathtaking flowers. They flower for months and inject color and drama wherever you grow them. Pompon and Ball Dahilas feature relatively small, fully double, globe-shaped flowers with petals blunt or slightly rounded at their tips. They display an infinite swirl of florets with fold upon fold of incredibly flawless petals. This arrangement looks so very perfect! This one was captured near Bolton Orchards, Bolton, Massachusetts. © Sachin Sawe #fall #foliage #autumn #season #nature #flora #flower #outdoors #sonya7rii #zeiss #55mm

Sachin photographed my son for his high school senior portraits. He suggested the location and took many photos with different positions and backgrounds. We had many excellent photos to choose from. T...he photos look professional and my son, who is not comfortable in front of the camera, felt relaxed - which came across in the images. Sachin made sure we met our deadline too. I will be using him for a professional head shot soon. We are very pleased with his work and highly recommend his photography. See More

It was a pleasure to work with Sachin on our son's senior portrait shoot. Sachin took so much pain in finding the right location and right shots and the right light. He probably took over 400 picture...s and they all were gorgeous. It was so hard to select a handful from them. Can't wait to do my portrait shoot and our family shoot with him See More

Sachin does amazing things with color in his photos. And he is kind and patient while directing his subjects. I had him take my corporate head shot and he was very patient as we tried out different ...poses and stances until we found one I liked. He also did an amazing thing where he turned a plain white background grey in the photos. He has taken photos of my family as well which were wonderful! His prices are reasonable and he is great to work with. See More

Our family had a enjoyable photo shoot in a natural setting and we loved the results. Sachin has a fun loving manner which put our kids at ease right away and because he encouraged their enthusiasm an...d energy, he was able to capture precious and unguarded expressions. Sachin also was great at communicating while we coordinated the session and had a quick turnaround in providing us with the photos. Thank you Sachin! See More

Trianglicious! Patterns are everywhere we go. We only have to spot them. It can be hard at first but over time we all can find a pattern or two everywhere we go. Couldn't help noticing this beautiful pattern of triangular 3D shapes on the surface of Epcot's huge dome. This dome is Epcot's landmark structure in Orlando, Florida. Now get outside, get into nature or simply outdoors and start shooting patterns! © Sachin Sawe #wdw #waltdisneyworld #epcot #themepark #a7rii #sonya7rii #ef2470 #disney #vacation #travel #landscape

Buttery smooth waterfall: Captured at Broadmoor Sanctuary, Natick, Massachusetts. I captured exact similar angle of the same fall couple of months ago. That one was captured with Fuji 24mp sensor and a ultra wide zoom lens and actually was a handheld 2 sec exposure. This one is captured with Sony 42mp sensor and a Batis 25mm prime lens. Also this one is a 8 sec exposure taken on a tripod using a circular polarizer to reduce the effect of glare on water. Clearly the picture ta...ken earlier was a much wider angle (15mm) compared to this one. I wonder which one looks better? Of course its all subjective depending on what is "better" in one's viewpoint You be the judge! Broadmoor Sanctuary is an awesome place to explore nature. It is part of Mass Audubon. If you get a chance do visit any of Mass Audubon's sanctuaries. I myself am a member of Mass Audubon and I thoroughly enjoy their sanctuaries I visit and get a lot of joy exploring the nature and capturing some fantastic memories! © Sachin Sawe #wildlife #outdoors #waterfront #nature #landscapes #landscape #broadmoor #sanctuary #massaudubon #natick #massachusetts #sonya7rii #a7rii #batis25 #batis25mm

Balancing Act: Captured at Roger Williams Park Zoo, Rhode Island. Arguably among the most beautiful of all butterfly species, the North American monarch isn’t just another pretty face. It has very interesting characteristics and abilities that none of its cousins across the globe can lay claim to. In one of the world’s astounding natural animal events each fall, tens of millions of monarch butterflies migrate up to 3000 miles from the Northeastern US and Canada down to their ...wintering grounds in Central Mexico to escape the frosts of winter. One of the enigmas around this phenomenon is how millions of infant butterflies who have never been to their ancestral breeding grounds return to the very trees that their parents roosted in before they were born. The orange of a monarch butterfly’s wings is a warning color, identifying itself to predators that the butterfly will taste bad or may be toxic. A monarch butterfly can flap its wings up to 120 times in a minute when trying to escape a predator. Their flight speed has been measured between 4 and 12 miles per hour but can be much faster if a monarch uses available wind currents that will speed it up considerably. © Sachin Sawe #butterfly #insects #animals #birds #colors #vibrant #spring #summer #bokeh #beautiful #rogerwilliamsparkzoo #nature #naturelovers #canon #canon70300l

Yellow Tulips! Captured these right outside our office building. Can't wait for full bloom Tulip season just around the corner. Did you know? In the 1600s tulips were the most expensive flower in the world. Some were even valued higher than most homes. Speculators traded bulbs for far above their true value before the market suddenly crashed. The term “Tulip Mania” was derived from this phenomenon. Now, Tulip Mania is often used to describe any economic bubble. The Netherlands produces more than 3 billion bulbs annually, making them the world’s foremost producer. Depending on your climate, they can last up to two weeks in colder weather, or only a few days in warmer areas. © Sachin Sawe #tulips #yellow #bloom #flora #flowers #beautiful #nature #fujilove #fujifilm #xt2 #xf100400 #flower

Cardinal's Portrait: Cardinals, in the family Cardinalidae, are passerine birds found in North and South America. They are also known as cardinal-grosbeaks and cardinal-buntings. The South American cardinals in the genus Paroaria are placed in another family, the Thraupidae (previously placed in Emberizidae). They are robust, seed-eating birds with strong bills. The family ranges in size from the 12-cm (4.7-in), 11.5-g (0.40-oz) orange-breasted bunting and up to the 25-cm (9....8-in), 85-g (2.99-oz) black-headed saltator. They are typically associated with open woodland. The sexes usually have distinctive appearances. The northern cardinal type species was named by colonists for the male's red crest, reminiscent of a Catholic cardinal's biretta. Lunchtime! Captured this chipmunk at Broadmoor Sanctuary. Did not know that chipumunks thrive on flowers as well. Wonder what it was trying to eat inside the flower. A little more googling and I was surprised! It seems flowers like thistle and flower bulbs of certain plants are a part of chipmunk's favorite diet menu card. Chipmunks are basically omnivorous. Which means that they eat both plants and animals. Their food, therefore, naturally consists of a lot of variety. They primarily eat nuts and seeds, insects, different types of grains, the eggs of certain birds, small birds (rarely), various types of fungi and worms, varied plants and grasses and raw vegetables and fruits. © Sachin Sawe #chipmunk #squirrel #massaudubon #broadmoor #wildlife #sanctuary #birds #owls #swans #furry #food #eatingfood

Buttery Stream: Captured this waterfall at Broadmoor Sanctuary. This was a long shutter exposure. What I liked was how the flow/direction of stream is distinctly visible in longer shutter shot. For a naked eye, its not so distinctly noticeable. An expansive retreat along Indian Brook and the Charles River, Broadmoor is an ever-changing environment teeming with wildlife: dragonflies darting, turtles basking, otters leaving tracks in the mud or snow, and more than 150 species of birds. Easy-to-moderate well-groomed trails lead you through the shade of mature woodlands into open fields and along the edges of streams, ponds, and marshland. © Sachin Sawe #wildlife #outdoors #waterfront #nature #landscapes #landscape #broadmoor #sanctuary #massaudubon #natick #massachusetts #fujifilm #xt2 #xf1024 #fujixt2 #fujilove

Creamy Purple: These two toned muscari have dark-blue spike flowers topped with a soft light-blue hue, complete with a sweet grape like fragrance. They look superb planted with muscari botryoides album white and miniature Daffodils narcissus and puschkinia. Ideal for planting in flower beds and borders, patio containers, rockery gardens. Captured this macro shot at Tower Hill Botanic Garden, Boylston, Massachusetts. My family and I had a really great time at this garden. Tulips are next to bloom around mid May. Gobble, gobble! Oh boy, Trouble! On last weekend we happen to spot a bunch of these on our way back from our trail exploration on a local trail. I was so fortunate to spot these at a golden hour. Spring being the mating season, many of these males were dancing with their tail fan opened up. The beautiful sunlight from behind gave their tail fan a unique look. © Sachin Sawe #turkey #gobble #bird #birds #turkeytailfan #portrait #closeup #colorful #wildlife #nature #exclusive_wildlife #naturelovers #fujifilm #fujilove #xt2 #fujixt2 #xf100400 #feather_perfection #nature_perfection

Beads Bokeh! I am sure you have seen pictures with the blurry backgrounds. Portraits where the background literally melts away thereby popping the main subject! When the backgrounds blur away many times you see smoother textures in the background. For example the distinct objects of different shape: hexagonal, circular, cat eye, onion rings etc. Overall the quality of these objects including the blurry background is sometimes referred as "Bokeh". In short bokeh is aesthetic q...uality of out-of-focus area of the image. Now sometimes you can use your camera to deliberately create out-of-focus image with bokeh all over of the entire image. That is precisely what I did in this picture. On a local earth fair, I bumped into beautiful, colorful set of beads stored in a plastic box. The sun was up high and totally making these beads shine. I put my lens in manual focus and focussed it such that the whole picture was out of focus. There you go! You get a beautiful pattern of colorful shapes! Depending on the objects you are trying to shoot, the way they are positioned, amount of light and your creativity in how you capture them, you can get some amazing results! Hope you all enjoy this one!!! © Sachin Sawe #abstract #pattern #bokeh #beads #earthfair #framingham #shapes #colors #vibrant #depthoffield #bokeh_shotz #art #fineart #creativity #wallpaper #screensaver #patterns #fujixt2 #xt2 #fujilove #xf50140 #fujifilm
