This church is very special to me, and two of my children are interred in the Columbarium there. M0nsignors Carr and Keeney helped make it so!

We are blessed to have such a beautiful, welcoming home to worship our Lord and Savior. Our Pastor and his team are clear in their commitment to meeting our parish members' spiritual needs.

I enjoyed worshiping here during our civil leadership institute in Williamsburg. The sermons were always encouraging and the Church is beautiful. Thank you.

Today on Good Friday {4.14.17} with both the Stations of the Cross & Celebration of the Lord's Passion; my lingering perceptions & meditations that I experienced while participating, listening & prayi...ng will be in my heart = thoughts, emotions & motivation for a long time. They will influence my spirit for many hours & days to come. I have so much to learn, absorb, & live.

Thank you to EVERYONE who played a part to make the mass so meaningful. My emotions were greatly affected by so much through out the mass & especially when the choir sang: "For God so Loved the World". Thank you. ♥

Very Grand beautiful church, it almost looks non Catholic. But something very important is missing, our Lord Jesus Christ in the center, in the altar. He is to the side in a chapel, why is the ver...y reason the church was made to the side of it? Its like visiting someone in their own house and expect that person to live in the garage. When I attended Mass as a visitor I was so uncomfortable, because my back was towards Him, my back was towards the chapel. I felt so sad, so very sad and angry. See More

We are visiting the area and chose St. Bede for Easter Sunday mass. What a beautiful church! We were welcomed with open arms, everyone was very friendly, and it was both a lovely and moving service.... Thank you to everyone at St. Bede for a wonderful experience. Impressive! See More

Everyone is a friend! I've belonged to St. Bede's since we moved here in 2001 and we've seen the Church change from the Shrine to the beautiful Church it is today. This is thanks to all the wonderful... priests and staff St. Bede's has had. Bless you all. See More

Saint Bede offers so much to our Williamsburg community and its many families. Some of which are faith based education, couples events, prayer work, various clubs/groups, children's faith formation an...d Sunday mass with a profound and relevant homily. Msgr. Keeney surely delivers, he listens and guides you in the proper Catholic way, with compassion and care. He's patient and kind, he acknowledges that everyone's secular and faith journeys are different, but we are all right where we need to be, and we're right on time. I was a returning Catholic who had many reservations and concerns about re-joining the Church after so many years away. Our young and growing family had a few experiences few would brag about with various parishes. It has been 2 years now since our family attended our first Mass and now my entire family is back and practicing the once beloved Catholic faith that I remembered growing up. We've met some of the best parishioners, who many we are blessed to now call friends. We have experienced being loved back into the church, after many many years and we encourage anyone or any families searching for a forever Catholic Church, give St. Bede a try. The key is "GET PLUGGED IN". It all starts with making a decision to select a mass time or adoration, just come, show up and join us! I hope we have a chance to meet you!

Do not be afraid...

I met Deacon Gregory while temporarily incarcerated inside Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail. Beyond the 2 weekly Bible studies (which always radiated an extra spirit of inclusion/family), I was later ...released and introduced to an entirely new family or "lighthouse" of support, love & needful aid at the Richmond Road location (here in Williamsburg).
Scripture assures us our Lord does not abandon us as orphans, yet for many years previous (unaware of Saint Bede) that was-past tense-exactly who I was. The Holy Spirit is ALWAYS behind the scenes, I am convinced of such, no matter where in life or loss or loneliness we find ourselves (amongt the temporary).

This is where I come every week to recharge my "spiritual batteries" and give thanks for the many blessings I enjoy - like, for example, my life with Lisette.

When I visit Williamsburg, I always attend 7:15am Mass at St. Bede's. It's much larger than my home parish, but everyone is always kind and welcoming.
