At Pennsville vs votech basketball game a public event and votech has the restrooms locked. Unbelievable. It may be illegal and if not it should be.

I sent my Ford Escape in to the auto shop kids to have the brakes looked at and have my oil changed since it was due and they would be working on it anyway. The lead teacher was up front with me when ...he stated that it needed new pads, rotors and calipers on all four wheels. After the brakes were done and no longer made the horrible grinding noise that it went in with, they discovered that one my wheel bearings was bad and it was a miracle that it had not already broke. They fixed that and also did a front end alignment as well as fix the exhaust leak that was pumping my cabin full of carbon monoxide. After all of this was done (for under $600), the lead teacher stated that everything that NEEDS to be done is done, and that while some things will need to be done soon (tie rods, belts) its nothing that cant wait since the exhaust leak and wheel bearing were unexpected, but necessary costs and he did not want to bleed me completely dry. That's not something you will find at a dealership or any other for profit garage. These repairs were done by students being trained to enter the automotive repair industry upon graduating who were closely supervised by a trained professional. Not only was this a grade for them, it was great hands on learning. The teacher and students were very appreciative that I let them work on my car to get some practice. A lot of people are hesitant about leaving their vehicles in the hands of children, but I don't think i would go any other way since my vehicle is no longer under warranty. No labor fees, and no hidden repairs that are done without your knowledge or consent that don't appear until you get your bill. 10/10 would recommend See More

Once again, it was an honor and a pleasure to serve as a judge at the Salem County Vocational Schools 41st Annual Quality Cup of Excellence. All of the students, instructors and staff did a wonderful ...job presenting the outstanding programs available to our County residents. We are humbled by the expertise, intellect and courtesy extended to all of the judges and visiting dignitaries. SCVTS shines in academic, career and technical excellence! See More

I think this is totally ridiculous that you make your students wait until 1 week before school starts to make a dress code decision and then not post it anywhere for parents to see. Totally unacceptable.

It's FFA Week! Each year, our FFA chapter and chapters around the country celebrate National FFA Week. It’s a time to share with local, state and national audiences what FFA is and the impact it has on members every day. This morning, our chapter held a Teacher Appreciation Breakfast for all Salem Tech staff. Tomorrow, it's the much-anticipated Jersey Fresh Cook-Off, in which members square off in a "Chopped" style competition using Jersey Fresh food products. #FFAweek
