4 weeks post World Cup and I am having some major withdrawals from it all! It was such an incredible experience, I learnt so much not only about the game, but about myself as a player and athlete. I would like to say a massive thank you to all that made this trip possible. To all my friends and family who donated and supported me with all my fundraisers. My coaches who helped me to improve as a player in the lead up and at the World Cup. Finally, a massive thank you to my par...ents who worked tirelessly to help me raise the money, supported me with my hectic training schedules and assisted me with all my late night training and daily filmed sessions. I greatly appreciate you all. It was an absolutely incredible experience that I would go back and do all over again in a heartbeat.

In honor of the 2017 IFAF Women's World Cup, and all of the women in the world who sacrifice their bodies day in and day out for the love of the game and to pav...e the way for all the girls who will play after us, I created this video to highlight just how far and wide women's love for football goes. From players in Sweden, to Hungary, to Russia, to China, to Paris, to Canada, to Norway, to Brazil, to Australia, to Mexico, to the USA, and all over the globe, there is an undeniable love for the game and I'm sure a tremendous future for women's football without a doubt!
For all of you who were a part of the women's world football games this year, please share this video with all the players world wide!!! Sorry it took me so long to make it, but what better day to release it than the day of the Championship game of the #IFAF #WWC2017
Good luck today ladies!!!!!
Thanks for sharing,
Okiima Pickett 2010 Team USA
All over sorry to say the girls came away winless for the tournament but they wil have gained some very valuable experience of where they need to be next time!! Sammy played great took a few good passes and made at least 2 first downs so I couldn't be prouder of the way she prepared herself and for what she has achieved in a sport she only started a couple of years ago! Thanks to all who helped Sam to get to here we couldn't be any more appreciative of the support she has received from family and friends I would love to name everyone but I think I would run out of room! Even though they didn't win they are all winners in their own right!

Unfortunately the girls lost and are disappointed. However I reminded Sam that it was their very first game and against the team ranked 2 in the world for the last few tournaments. They did a great job😀 Sam played a great game👍
