Taupo Crossing 40.8km
A fantastic congratulations and well done to the amazing Alice on her crossing of Lake Taupo. So very proud of your swim today. You're amazing!!...
Alice's next big project is Apolima Strait SWIM on 6th April, two months away.
Well done too to Alice's team Mike Cochrane and others who supported Alice's swim. Well done everyone.
Su & Jacques 15km swim
Su Scott & Jacques de Reuck
Distance, 15km, Time, 5:06:00
Finally after six years, Su and Jacques are the first to tak...e on my swim to challenge for the record of 6hours. No problem for the duo, easily done at 5:06:00 for the official distance of 15km (not 13km). This is their journey in perfect conditions. Fortune favour the brave. Well done! Who's next? Hit me up!
Plan to arrive a few days early and join us here for Warrior Race Samoa Half Ironman on 28 July. You can even join a team for the Half IM distance or race Beat the Heat Olympic Distance solo. The other option is to relax and watch the race at beautiful Lalomanu before the 10km & 5km POWC swims on Mon and Tues #samoaevents #samoaswims #beautifulsamoa
Not bad for a Reserve swim for POWC 5km. First option for the 5km swim is the Deep Blue course, either way its a WIN/WIN for POWC swimmers. Check now your dates and book for a Swim Festival bar none in the Pacific Islands this year
3 Events (POWC, Samoa Swim Series, Savaii Experience)
