Come meet her and a few of her adoptable friends tomorrow Saturday, August 20th at Verse Apartments in San Diego from 11am - 2pm (7575 Linda Vista Rd) >> http://ow.ly/Zprs303n7pB

Thanks to our dear friends at Purina for supporting San Diego Humane Society in the most impactful ways! In addition to donating high-quality, nourishing food to ALL the animals at our shelter, they’re also major sponsors of our Fur Ball! San Diego Humane Society simply couldn’t function as a safety net for vulnerable people and pets without the generosity of year-round partners, like Purina. Thank you, Purina, for sending love without limits to our shelter!

Happy ‪#‎Purrrsday‬ from our favorite duo - Ellen and Helen! These two gal pals love napping in their pink convertible. They've graduated from the kitten nursery and are on their way to a foster home where they can continue the care and socialization they need to be well-adjusted cats!

Reason #1,943,729 we love our friends at Petco and Petco Foundation: they share our compassion for pets and people! And they turn that compassion into action in a very big way! Not only did they sponsor our Fur Ball gala, but as year-round sponsors of San Diego Humane Society, Petco and Petco Foundation make it possible for our programs to save more animal lives and pet families than ever before. Thousands of people and pets here in our community are healing and thriving, thanks to the generosity of Petco and Petco Foundation. We are beyond grateful to have them as friends.

Today's game of ‪#‎CaptionThis‬ is brought to you by the lovable 85lbs lap dog, Chase! A big boy with an even bigger heart, Chase doesn't let his size deter him from loving on every human who crosses his path. He's all about belly rubs, tail wags and slobbery kisses!

When he's not being a snuggle-monster, Chase LOVES going on adventures. He's part of our canine adventure team that takes some of our dogs out to explore nearby trails. Chase loves to explore new sights and smells, and does well with the other dogs in the group!

Happy ‪#‎TongueOutTuesday‬ from SDHS Alum - Brixton!
Brixton's mom loves to show off pictures of her boy whose tongue just can't seem to stay in during nap time. We think it's one of his most endearing qualities, among that adorably squishy face and his affinity for doggie-costumes (you should see this boy rock his little bumble bee wings! ... We'll save that for another day though).

SHARE your pet's favorite Tongue Out Tuesday photos with us here!

Today's ‪#‎MuttMonday‬ is brought to you by the all-stars at Mission Animal & Bird Hospital for donating their grooming services to the animals at our Oceanside Campus. Thanks to them, Nimbus is feeling like a brand new pup!

Nimbus was found by a Good Samaritan last week running scared in the street. Upon entering our care, we quickly noticed that he was severely matted, covered in fleas and completely shut down from fear. He'll be spending a bit of time with our trainers to build his confidence, and we'll make an announcement when he's available for adoption - stay tuned!
