Who is more important: 5,000 4th graders or 300 millionaires?

That's the choice facing Supervisor Jane Kim and TIDA board chair Fei Tsen as they ponder a propos...al by local political power broker Darius Anderson to convert 1/3rd of Clipper Cove at Treasure Island into a private luxury mega-marina.

Of course there is a LOT more to Clipper Cove than the 5,000 4th graders. But then Darius Anderson's marina won't be serving anyone else but those 300 millionaires.

So we thought "let's make it a fair fight." ; )

Supervisor Kim has been sympathetic and active, but she has not yet taken a public position.

Please send Kim a quick email to let her know that preserving public access to one of the best parts of the San Francisco Bay is important to the community!

Note: I was lucky to encounter the raven after many weeks of trying. I endured its laughter while trying to coax it from its wire with breadcrumbs. After 2 weeks of this, the raven finally granted me a much-coveted interview about the Blue Angels.
