Upon entering I was seated promptly at the bar. My waiter was exceptionally attentive, anytime I looked up he was there. I ordered the phó, the brother had the perfect oily coating that only comes fro...m properly cooling down a brother for hours on hours. The basil and bean sprouts were crisp and fresh, I’m used to having a lime with my phó how ever the lemon I was provided with did the job. However I only had two slices of beef and maybe 2 ounces of actual noodles. They really have to give you some more noodle with three spoon fulls it was gone and I had a bowl full of bean sprouts and basil. For the cost of noodles it’s like ordering red beans and rice and basically getting a bowl of bean sprout soup. They service was great but the portion was skimpy. If that 8.99 bowl has to go to 10 for me to get a couple more noodles so be it. (**i ordered extra noodles and they gave me two more spoons worth of noodle) See More

Salmon Italiano rocks. As the owner says, It will fill you up. Delectable salmon in a savory sauce full of tomatoes and capers with perfect pasta noodles and dash of parmesan. For me this is a take... 1/3 home and enjoy for lunch tomorrow. Yum yum. That way you can have a slice of banana cream pie to polish off the evening and not totally overdue it. See More

We happen to actually love this diner it’s got excellent food for very reasonable prices and it is definitely a place that locals go to it’s not a destination tourist type of restaurant it’s a Santa Cruz style place that we happen to enjoy eating out I would recommend it See More

Always delicious. Server messed up my order big time THIS time. Ordered over easy, got scrambled, meal was supposed to come with pancakes but they never came. But this rating is based on all the exper...iences here. We’ve been multiple times and every time it’s been wonderful. Would recommend and will be back. See More

Kinda sucks. Went downhill over the years. Place was smoky (as in turn on the damn fan over the grill), menu has way too many items for a short order cook to do, and food was "eh...". Sorry, but i wil...l hit up the Dennys down the street next time. At least the menu isnt confusing and its not smoky. See More

The place was nice, the staff was pleasant and prompt, food was good. My overall experience wasn’t amazing but if I happened to be in the neighborhood again, I would possibly go there to eat again.

I had a disappointing experience the first time but I thought I would give it another chance. It was just a bad. The first time, the owner/manager was berating a server in front of other staff and c...ustomers. She was doing the same thing when I walked in the door. The hash browns tasted like they had been cooked in very old grease. I didn't finish them. I will definitely not being going back there again. See More

Awesome place to eat and relax with the family! I would say is one of the few places in the bay area that give you peaceful environment to eat and enjoy the classic diner! Although would be awesome to... fix seats to give more comfortable time but keeping the same look! See More

Order BREAKFAST here. Country style stuff was underwhelming but, breakfast in a quirky diner for ~$15 was great! I had a waffle special with a cup of coffee and was SO satisfied.

Waitress was nice. I will be back and hope to update this to a 5 or 4 star. This was my first time here and I'm a local. I'm hoping they had an off day. Service was a little slow and lettuce on my bur...ger was old. And so was avocado. Fries were weirdly burnt and cold. See More

We had the Vietnamese pho noodle soup(enough for two) and it did not disappoint. The French dip sandwich was one of the best that I have ever eaten. We've eaten breakfast there before and it's excelle...nt. We've always had excellent service too. See More
