𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝟴𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗱 “𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻."

In the aftermath of Beto-mania, Gov. Abbott, Lt. Gov. Patrick, and Speaker Bonnen apparently set out to “do no harm.” For conservatives in Texas who expected more, they presided over a do-nothing session—that’s unless you count odd maneuvers on property taxes no one can figure out, and making Texas safe for lemonade stands and chicken sandwiches.

The problem is, by moving left to pacify Democrats, the Big Three alien...ated their own base. Their grassroots supporters and Republicans across Texas are disheartened. And that’s not good
leading up to what might be one of the most important elections in history.

Texas is now a Purple State. To turn it Royal Blue, Democrats plan to inspire, excite and ignite Democratic voters. What’s our plan? It’s evident Republican leaders don’t have one that inspires confidence in their grassroots supporters.

Enter the Lone Star Agenda, a common sense plan to unite Texas Republicans and keep Texas Red. The Lone Star Agenda gives the Big Three a legislative package that will inspire, excite and ignite the base. A movement is building—over 150 grassroots leaders and nearly every conservative organization in Texas—want to unite with the Big Three to Save Texas in 2020.

𝙒𝙚 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙏𝙚𝙭𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙡𝙞𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛-𝙙𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙜𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙨:

1. Allow families to make mental and physical health decisions for themselves.
2. Stop wrongful removal of children from families by restoring due process rights for parents.
3. Stop local ordinances that interfere in private employer-employee relationships.
4. Increase protections for unborn Texans.

𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

𝙒𝙚 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙏𝙚𝙭𝙖𝙨 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙩𝙤 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙝𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙧 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙚:

5. Improve election integrity (paper ballot backup audit trail; citizenship verification).
6. End taxpayer funded lobbying.
7. End union dues withholding from public sector paychecks.
8. Protect Texas monuments.

𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆

𝙒𝙚 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙏𝙚𝙭𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙛𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙞𝙣𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚:

9. Secure the southern border (interior enforcement to end the “magnet” effect).
10. Stop human trafficking.
11. Protect the rights of Texans to bear arms.

The Lone Star Agenda is designed to UNITE all Republicans with our Republican leaders to Save Texas in 2020—and as a result, Save America!

An Open Letter to Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick and Governor Greg Abbott

Last week Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick sent a lengthy email across the State of Texas spotlighting the Lone Star Agenda. We wish to express our gratitude to Governor Patrick for his thoughtful explanation of the political threat facing Texas and the Lone Star Agenda’s role to address it.

In the email, Governor Patrick correctly states that the Texas 2020 election is the most important election “in a lifetime.” He also correctly points out that the key to winning in 2020 is “Conservatives must unite to win the battle.” We could not agree more with Governor Patrick’s assessment.

The email goes on to highlight legislation that was passed in the 86th legislative session. Governor Patrick then turns his attention to the Lone Star Agenda. “I totally understand the frustration…over bills that were not signed…(and are) included in the LSA…but, frustration over the lack of those bills becoming law cannot divide conservatives as we approach 2020.” Here is where we challenge Governor Patrick. Admitting that we are “fractured” is a great start; we agree. However, demanding that we unite is not a plan. That is why hundreds of conservative leaders across our state worked together to develop the LSA as the best pathway to ensure unity.

Governor Patrick goes on to extol the conservative accomplishments of the Senate only to see nine out of ten LSA priorities die in the House. Again, we praise Governor Patrick’s leadership in the Senate and for highlighting the failure of the 86th session to pass conservative reforms. With new conservative leadership in the House, expectations for a new day in Texas were at an all-time high. To see so many common sense conservative bills die under new leadership was disheartening to say the least.

Governor Patrick does a wonderful job explaining what is at stake in 2020 and the dire consequences if we fail. He very clearly makes the case that the pathway to victory is unity. The only thing missing in his email is a plan to ensure unity.

Governor Patrick has rightfully placed responsibility for the LSA and the future of Texas in your hands, Governor Abbott. A special session to address issues in the LSA will energize the Republican party. It will also establish new House leadership to support Republican candidates on the campaign trail. Most importantly, it will demonstrate to voters who want to Keep Texas Red that their leaders are listening to them.

Thank you, Governor Patrick, for your very thoughtful letter outlining the dire circumstances facing conservatism in Texas.

Governor Abbott, the people of Texas have a plan to save our state. Your leadership is all that is necessary to lead the plan, unite all Republicans, and save the Lone Star State.
