Devoted to those 55+, the Savvy Senior Club is about empowering all seniors to know that we are old enough to have a past and young enough to have a future and that how that future unfolds is very much in our control. How we think, nourish and move our bodies has a huge impact on our well-being and the quality of our life. Join me, Anne Goldberg, The Savvy Senior for an hour of fun, inspiration and information that will help you rock this third act of life.

The people who live the longest in the world have strong social connections and a sense of purpose. Here's a great article from Harvard Men's Health talking about this. Enjoy!

SAVVY SENIOR LAUGHTER CLUB - Wed, Sept 13th-5:30-6:30 PM
The first meeting of the Savvy Senior Laughter Club is a follow-up to last month's meetup when we learned about Humor, Laughter and Living Longer - so it makes sense for the next meeting to be about laughter and humor! Join us and bring along your favorite joke(s) to share or any funny stories you have (clean only please!!) Magic tricks are welcome; anything that will have us laughing out loud. Bring your friends and th...eir jokes. Light refreshments are served. As always, this event is 100% FREE to attend.
Location: Alexander Levitt (formerly Levitt Weinstein) Funeral Home on West McNab Rd just west of University Drive in Tamarac. There's an event room there with great technology, comfortable tables and chairs, free refreshments and the opportunity to learn about managing stress in a way that puts you in control of your emotions.
When life happens and suddenly you are surrounded by illness, how do you cope? What strategies do you use? Here is where I landed when six friends were all diagnosed with serious health issues within 2 weeks. Check it out and please let me know what you think.
I want to thank each and every one of you for LIKING this page. It is your support that inspires me. Remember to FOLLOW me so you'll see all my posts, blogs and, coming soon, a Facebook Live show. More to come... I love you all!
A recent conversation with a 95-year old man who just sat through my lecture, "Decluttering Your Mind-Choosing to Feel Happy not Crappy":
Anne: “Did you enjoy the talk?” Man: Yes, very much. I just have one question.” Anne: Yes? Man: Did it hurt when you fell out of heaven?”
I am so blessed to do this for a living....
At our last meetup meeting of The Savvy Senior Club we learned about the enormous health benefits of laughter and humor so it seems fitting that this meeting follow the theme with a meeting at which we all laugh!
So, the first Savvy Senior Laughter Club is born and you're invited. Come, bring your friends and funny (clean) jokes and stories - yes, especially the embarrassing ones!
Through laughter we improve our mood, oxygenate our blood and brain and even exercise our core. ...Come on out, 5:30, Wednesday September 13th. Yes, I know Alexander Levitt is a funeral home. When there's no funeral, it's just a building and it's an essential part of life. So let's meet life (and death) head-on with laughter.
I hope to see you there. Please RSVP to me for exact address. It makes planning so much easier.
Wishing you reasons to smile,
