Minarets High SchoolHigh School in Coarsegold, California
This is our first year and I really can't say enough great things about Minarets, its students, and its faculty. My daughter is learning things in her Media class that I couldn't do myself at the end... of high school, and I attribute it to the way they teach the kids and the teachers they have doing it. They don't read about something,
they DO things to learn it.
The one year I attended this school (back in 2009-10) was the best year of my high school career. The experience
impacted the rest of my life up to this point and I can honestly say that I wouldn't be... where I am without the amazing staff and programs.
I was one of the original students and attended all 4 years. The majority of the students were very friendly and the school is simply a cool place. I would not have attended any other high school and ...I'm proud to have been a part of the first graduating
class of 2012!
MHS for me was something I don't think I could ever forget. I wasn't just educationa
lly taught. being there you didn't have to be a certain way or look a certain way. MHS taught me the values of life.... The people there and the staff were the best part of that school not the technology or the computers. MHS taught me how to be a better person for the future. To push my dreams which became a passion that I love so dearly. MHS is one of the best schools. Highly recommend it.
I really enjoyed going to MHS, people who don't like it possibly haven't been to another high school. I went to YHS first, I was bullied, not taught about real adult life, or even simple computer tech... knowledge that is so needed in our day and age. Many (Not all) of the teachers at YHS didn't seem like they cared or wanted to enrich the children's
lives. I loved the teachers, the staff, and the other students I may. Many of my greatest experience s in high school came from MHS. I'm glad I went to MHS instead of staying at YHS. I feel more prepared for life, and college in general after attending MHS.
Congratulations on a great season to our girls who were edged out in a 1-0 loss at Rosamond tonight. We are proud of you and looking forward to many more great seasons with our young team. Go Mustangs!
