A whistleblower report surfaced on the Chinese internet last week. A former student collected evidence and accused the Tianjin University engineering professor Yuqing Zhang of research fraud. 10 years of nanotechnology and environmental pollution research, sixty Master theses, at least 50 peer reviewed papers in respectable Elsevier journals: all are entirely fabricated, with barely or no experiments ever done.
