Aaaand we're back! We had such an ace time in Shanghai with A Bang in the Void performing at The GREAT Festival of Creativity. Such an honour to create work with the fantastic Andrew and Laura, and to be invited to represent our old University internationally!

Thank you to the INSANELY talented Mr William Breden for making our little Scuffler, modelled on Macbeth's fan boy in our Macbeth performed at The Y Theatre last November!

Exciting news! We will be heading to Shanghai at the beginning of March to perform a devised Shakespeare piece at the GREAT Festival of Creativity with A Bang in the Void!
Give our unfairly awesome and talented collaborators some love on their Facebook page (above)!
Happy New Year from the Scufflers! 2014 was brilliant, but now we’re charging into 2015 with some very awesome reworked classic performances!
However times are a-changing, and sadly we must announce that Jonny McClean is leaving his post as Artistic Director in order to focus on his independent career.
We’re sorry to see him go: Jonny has been a fantastic Scuffleboxer and you may see him in future Scufflebox productions. Until then, we wish the talented chap the very best and look forward to hearing tales of his new theatrical adventures!
Happy New Year!
2014 was a fantastic year for us: we collaborated with Original Ink Productions for 'Simon's Birthday' at Upstairs at The Western, facilitated the fantastic Curve Young Company in Coalville, and gave 'Macbeth' the Scufflebox treatment (complete with THE SCUFFLEBOX) at KLiC's Sundays at The Y.
We've got some exciting plans for this year (but they're currently all secret and mysterious...mwahahaha). So for now, we'll say thank you for being marvellous supporters in 2014, let's have a blast in 2015!
Merry Christmas from the Scuffleboxers!
Kirsty's guide to having a fantastic Christmas:
1) Eat everything
2) Hug everyone ...
3) Sit in as many present boxes as you can (fit in)
Enjoy!
We had a lovely catch up yesterday with the brilliant Ben Spiller of 1623 theatre company, talking Shakespeare and future plans.
Check out their fantastic work inspiring, surprising and affecting audiences with Shakespeare on their website here http://www.1623theatre.co.uk/

We really are grateful for all of your support in our first year. We've got lots of exciting plans in the pipe line, and we can't wait to share them with you!
Keep your eyes peeled and have a great weekend!
Jenni and Paul are off to Nottingham today for the East Midlands Arts Conference today. Have a natter to them if you're there!
Meanwhile, Kirsty has written a blog about what Scufflebox has been up to in recent months, check it out here on the Scufflebox website http://bit.ly/11qpb3o
You may have wondered 'Hey. Scufflebox haven't said much about their GREAT festival rehearsals for Hong Kong. What's happening?'
Unfortunately, it is with some sadness that due to political unrest we are unable to attend the festival.
However, we and the beautiful folks from A Bang In The Void are still rehearsing and have some special plans for our Shakespeare-inspired piece in the future!
So, keep your eyes peeled! There's something magical to be created yet!
