Our rescued walrus calf Aku has been a real trooper dealing with an eye ulcer that he sustained during rehabilitation in Alaska…but he’s not letting it slow him down one bit! A big, walrus-sized THANKS to Animal Eye Associates and our amazing animal care and veterinarian teams who are giving him loads of care.
Many of you have been asking about Fredi, the beloved matriarch of our pilot whale pod. We are happy to say she’s shown some signs of improvement over the past few days, but she still has a long way to go and continues to receive 24/7 care from our Animal Care and Veterinarian teams. Check out the story of how Fredi came to join the SeaWorld family and form her own pod! #ParkToPlanet

Exciting news for the SeaWorld family: National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has selected SeaWorld San Antonio as the new home for Tyonek, the rescued beluga whale calf. We are excited to welcome him to our family and provide the ongoing, specialized care he needs! #ParktoPlanet
