I notice many are speaking about their experience with Sears. It is important to note that Sears and Sears Hometown Stores are two different and separate companies. Sears Hometown Stores are all owned and run. Most of the Sears Hometown Stores do not have their own local service repair centers. As it is with most companies that sell appliances, they rely on the manufacturers to follow up with warranty repairs. The Sears Hometown Stores will do all they can to assist you in that effort. I personally have spent many hours on the phone getting help for customers. We do recognize, however, there is a limit of what we can do. We do sell and recommend service repair agreements. This is quite different than an extended warranty which many have discovered is not worth a whole lot. Please visit our store. We are not able to help you with items purchased from Sears or their website. We will do our best to assist you with items purchased from Sears Hometown. See More

Very bad and dangerous. Went in to find out the part number for my one week old dishwasher that I couldn’t use, purchased from this very store. The owner of the Taos, NM Hometown Sears Store lamented ...about how his business was bad. Said he never owned the appliance I just bought from the store, never will and I was stuck with it! I just went in for the part number for the piece that was missing from the new Kenmore dishwasher I had purchased a week before, it didn’t show up on the Sears website. The man shoved me against a glass door, told me to get out and chased me into the parking lot. See More

Sears customer service is very disappointing. If you got a problem with your order, they don't really provide any useful support. They will ask you the same questions and tell you the same answer over... and over again. They will give you a timeframe to resolve the issue: first it'll be 24-48 hours, a week later, you call them again, it's 2-3 business days. 2 weeks later they'll tell you to wait 3-5 days and then 48-72 hours again. 3 weeks have passed they will tell you to wait another 7-10 days. You call a customer service representative and they'll tell you the same thing over again. Tweet them, email them and they give you the same useless information.
It's sad for hardworking people who worked / works at Sears local stores, but there is seriously something very wrong here.

I would advise anyone to never purchase a sears or Kenmore appliance. Over priced garbage. We spent over 1000 on a Kenmore stove and kept being told it was out of stock- in the mean time they charged for it three times and it took me 3 months of fighting to get a refund for 2 of the charges. Fast forward 2 years almost to the day, and the stove broke out of the blue. They couldn't get me an appointment for a week- charge you 100 just to look at your appliance, and now need to order a part and can't see me again for another 15 days! That leaves me for nearly a month with a family and no stove- during both Christmas and New Years. If I could give zero stars I would. See More

I purchased 5 appliances from your company. Fast forward to little over a year later (6 service calls 3 different replacement parts), and the ice machine in the elite french door refrigerator is still... leaking water/stopped making ice. I was informed from one of the many technicians that the seal doesn’t fit properly! Consumer reports has uncountable reviews from others with the same exact problem. Your wonderful customer service put me on hold with multiple people numerous times, and the final rude woman wouldn’t transfer me to a supervisor bc I find it completely unfair to pay for another service call for an appliance that hasn’t worked since purchasing it. I will never purchase another Kenmore appliance. See More

Spent 3500. On new tractor and snowblower with cains and warranties that was to be all set and ready to go paid up front for this too ..what i got was a pieced out new tractor that will not run had to... go back for the snowblower that was not attatched as promissed at time of pick up then again for a re order for the chain and mounts to find out that they sold the chains to someone else who did return them becouse they sold him the wrong size and lost my mounts i was told by Mike the manager of the swanzey NH store the I should call sears repair they will come with the mounts and set up the tractor and snow blow yet another lie now i have a new broken tractor an un attatch snowblower and a set of chain i can not use its paid for and they will not touch it or fix it so now im trying to return it and get my 3500.back and guess.. what another run around. in our 50 yrs of being a sear customer we are now officely DONE with sears and all of their products, services and will take our money elsewhere See More

Called twice for trouble with my washer kept being told try this try that and call back. Now the locking mechanism is broken on my washer, which means that I can not do laundry at all. I called seve...ral times go the run around only to be told that the soonest they can come out is in more then two weeks time to fix it. This is such crap. I have two kids and a husband that does maintenance and can not wait that long. Wish I had not gotten a washer from them and will NEVER buy another thing from them again. RIP OFF!!!! See More

I again tried the hometown store in Broken arrow and again there was no one in the store to offer assistance. The only person working was on a personal call and did not even approach me. I waited seve...ral minutes and no one even offered to assist. I would have bought a vacuum today but it's sure not going to be at this hometown store. I ordered a refrigerator with free delivery and paid extra for hook up of the ice maker. After being told numerour times I would get a call to schedule delivery, I received this response,

We have receive your request for order status. As per our records we see the item is available at store. We would also like to inform you that item will not be shipped to you it has to be picked up from store.

You can also contact the store at: 573-348-8999 and check with them if they can deliver the item to you.

No Recall and Numerous Complaints about dangerous UE (unbalanced codes) on Kenmore Elite Washing Machine model 31512. Please call US CPSC to report your complaint because I think Sears is ignoring us.... 1-800-638-2772

Don't just ask about a Recall. File a complaint!

Do a google search of "Disqus UE Error Code Kenmore Elite 31512" to numerous other people who have issues with this machine! It's time for Sears to admit the defect on this appliance!

Sears left $1500 worth of appliances in my driveway. Didn't call me the night before to confirm delivery. Said a little old lady signed for it....funny no one was home... really? I bought a Kenmore washer with no agitation. In June of 2017.In September the washer stop washing and I call for a repair.It had been from Sept up until now and I haven't heard from Sears.I will buy another appliance from Sears every again.They just kept giving me the run around about this washer I only had for give months.Never again will they have my business.
