I'm so excited to show you guys this scene!
Throughout the duration of filming a short film, #JustMyLuck for the 72hr Film Challenge, our Director of Photography, Douglas St John, was determined to get the elusive "One shot" in our film.
He got his wish, and here is that shot...
One of the best things about being an artist, be it an actor or entertainer of any kind, is being able to have a connection with your audience...

Everyone needs help sometimes.
Two auditions, one voice over, one feature film shoot, #nosleep, #noregrets, because sometimes you've got to grind even if you didn't actually rise first.
I've now been awake for 40hrs, so I'm going to fall asleep right here watching TV like a grown up.
On the left, 14 years old, about a month before I gave up on my dream of being an actor. I wasn't athletic, wasn't the popular kid, and I believed everyone who said "you'll never make it. Try something else. Get a trade."
On the right, two weeks ago and 14 years later, on the set of my latest film.
...Trust me, you can do anything you put your mind to.

People ask how you go from gypsy kid to actor, well, some things aren't so different...
#TheAudition has been chosen as #OfficialSelection of the #CanadaShorts film festival in St. John's and will be screening on December 10th!
I am also thrilled to say that it has been chosen for the #MeritAward for this year's festival.
This is the first film of writer/producer (and star) Mandy Magnan and I am honoured to have been a part of it and play my part in supporting #WomenInFilm

Missing a screening of my film "... Just My Luck" at @hamiltonfilmfestival and the @72hourfilmfest but it's been an absolute honour to work on this project... one more day to go!

It was an honour to share the set with all of you.
To all of you who said "Trump supporters delete/block me now" and then today are saying "Wow America I had no idea your were like this."
Why the fuck are you so surprised?
You didn't want to listen, to discuss rationally in debate and maybe even have a shot at enlightening or understanding these people, so they made their voice heard in ballots.
...I'm not right, alt-right, republican by any means, I'm not even American, but I know that when people are silenced or dismissed as extremist/racist/misogynist without being heard, that oppression validates their beliefs, even those they may have otherwise reconsidered through debate.
The only way to disarm your enemy is to listen to them, because ideas we can fight, monsters stay in the shadows where we want them.
Learn from this. Stop hiding from everything you don't like. Stop thinking you're so god damn right about everything and listen to those who disagree with you; because what we learned tonight is what may be true is irrelevant, it's what the majority believes that matters.
