This is Max who came to the clinic last month after being run over by a car after jumping out of his owner's truck. He came in with a broken hip and was unable to use his back legs. We treated him for shock, monitored his condition overnight, and then took him to surgery to repair his hip fracture. This video was made about 36 hours after surgery to place a bone plate to stablize his fractures.

Every cat and dog would get adopted if they could make a sales pitch like this.

I was in last week with my small shitzu waiting for his check up ((our first visit to this clinic)) when a man rushed in and said his dog got wrapped up in some fencing and was bleeding badly. I saw t...he Veterinarian and two vet techs rush out the door to immediately help the dog. They brought the dog in and quickly took him back. They came back out to update the owners and thankfully the dog was going to be okay. I was so impressed with how quickly and efficiently they jumped into action to help this wounded pup. Between that and how sweet and gentle they were with my shitzu I will never go anywhere else. They truly love and are passionate about what they do! See More

I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else! They have helped our pets through many tough health issues. They make you feel as if your pet is the only patient they have. You can see that they truly care f...or the animals they treat. See More

The staff are top rate and so friendly and helpful. Kyle has looked after all our border collies since we came to CS in 2007. He even spent his first Father's Day morning doing emergency surgery on ...our now 13 yr old border collie. All his work has been thorough and he is great with our cats too. Love Kaye at the front desk - she's always fun !! See More

I have been going to Shenandoah Veterinary Clinic for more than 5 years. Normally we've seen Dr. Bostick but we took our newest rescue puppy to Dr. Knappett. She was great with our pup. Recently Dr. ...Bostick helped our family deal with end of life care for our lab, Boudreaux. He was very sensitive to our family's wishes. Dr. Bostick has done hip surgery on our Maltipoo, Rory and she healed beautifully. I am looking forward to getting to work with Dr. Knappett in the future with Scarlett, our new pup.

The staff at Shenandoah is excellent too. Love Kaye at the front desk and Katie is a caring vet tech.

We absolutely love our vet. They have been there during the tough times and the happy times with our dogs. They even helped us laugh through one of our canine people overdosing on ibuprofen twice in t...wo weeks. He was fine and no worse for wear. Thank you for your loving care. See More

This is the best vet office in the area. My pug, Bella is generally a handful but Dr. Bostwick, Dr Knappett & their staff are wonderful with her!

Our Presley crossed the rainbow bridge early this morning to reunite with her buddies Josie and Jake. The three amigos are together again. God has a plan and sometimes that plan includes enriching our lives with pets. God brought Kyle and Shaina together through the love of their pets. They met at Research Park because Josie, Shaina's lab, would go sit by Kyle begging for the treats he kept hidden in his pocket for Jake, his lab. They married a year later, which is when Pr...esley joined the crew. Presley was a hurricane Rita rescue that had been shuffled around to several homes before landing at the Bostick's house while living and working in Crockett. The plan was to take her to Shaina's mom that Christmas to live with her. But, after two months of sleeping on top of Kyle's feet in bed.......he couldn't leave her. After a few minutes of Kyle's crying like a baby, Shaina's mom told him to load her up and take her home. So the they made it back to Crockett with three labs...all of whom expected a place in the bed. They were perfect companions who brought joy and happiness and gave unconditional love.....even to the two kids that turned their lives upside down. Presley was one of a kind and tried everyone's patience at times. She was a puppy to the end and saved many other dogs by serving as the clinic's blood donor. She will be missed.
