I hired Sheridan to help with choosing the plants for my garden and planting them, what a mistake. There was no coordination between the designer, landscaper and store. It took weeks to get the plan...ts and have them planted, didn't hear back from the designer Laura after the initial meeting. Half of the plants sent were not the quality you would expect for the money you pay and some were missing. It's now weeks later and I have a tree and six plants in my back yard waiting to be planted. I tried to reach the owner Karl Stensson however 2 weeks later have not heard back from him. Unfortunately I paid for everything already which was a lot of money for terrible service. Very disappointed in Sheridan's service and quality. See More

I went in for fish emulsion, and it was being sold at $14.99 I showed them that lowe's was selling for, $10.59, was told they needed a printed paper with the letterhead, in order to honour the price m...atch. Like really, no one asks for that. Just a way to make it difficult for customer to price match. All other stores just require to see online. This was at the kitchener location See More

Almost 3 weeks since I visited the nursery on Southdown Road, Mississauga for in-home design. It took them 2 weeks to respond and then I asked for in-store. Got a call but the person left me a voicema...il. I called back. Yet to hear back from anyone.

What a waste of time...this is the last 5 min. I will ever spend here

Rhonda spent an hour with me today explaining about different plants and what light they needed, etc. to grow around the tree in my front yard. This was my first time trying to garden and she got me f...ixed up with all the right tools, flowers, and an adorable purple watering can to make everything perfect! Please thank her for me and I'll for sure be coming back closer to summer to get plants for the backyard! See More

I don't know if it's all the locations, but the Whitby location really does not know how to care for their indoor plants. I've gone many times looking to buy something tropical or exotic, and their st...ock are almost always dried up and half dead. Once I asked an employee if they had more bromeliads on a shipment they just got, and when she asked another employee, she told her it was because I "didn't like the look of" the ones they had on display. It's not that I didn't like the look of them- they were clearly well on their way to dead. I left and went to another nursery where I bought a perfectly healthy version of the same plant.

Honestly, it's a shame that every time I come in I see plants not getting the care they need.

So disgusted by the Toronto location on Yonge St. Parked in one of the 3 spots in the front of the store, on an angle so I could get my 10 month old out (if I didn't I would have hit the car that wa...s parked tightly beside me) I was going to move it once I got my baby into the stroller. .. until a man on a forklift began cursing how I was parked over the line (he didn't realize I was in the car). His vulgar language was disgusting, especially considering the old lady parked beside me was listening to it. I got out and he began a vulgar tirade on me. I asked the young guy who was helping the elderly lady the guys name.. he ignored me as he was laughing.. finally he looked at me and said still laughing.. 'I don't know his name'. I got the guys name.. it was Richard. Never will shop there again. I was going to use the 250 store credit we got after we didn't get plans for our landscaping project from the designer Alexandra until WEEKS later... all around terrible store... who curses a lady with a baby? And to see the other guy laughing.. yeah very funny!!! Never will go there again . See More

Fantastic! I thought they'd have less variety than shown on their site like most nurseries, but after "just a walk through to see what they have" this morning, I was stunned to walk into a giant green... house with probably hundreds of varieties of flowers, fruits and vegetables. We walked out with more than we planned and we're excited to get planting in a few days! We're already planning for next year based on the varieties we've never seen in person until now! See More

We planted a garden in memory of our son who passed away. From the planning consultation, to picking out our flowers, we received so much help and the garden looks beautiful. When a few flowers bloome...d that weren't what they were supposed to be I received no hassle in returning them and picking out replacements. It's been a great experience working with Sheridan in Whitby. See More

When watering your orchid, it’s best to pour 1-2 cups of room temperature water through the potting mix allowing it to fully drain before placing it back in the window. Avoid using ice cubes!
