My friends and I participated in The Buttercream Basics Workshop today. It was amazing! It was really great to go over the basics and learn new tricks and techniques. Can't say enough about Shortie Cakes! I needed a cake for a family reunion/my mom's birthday and it had to be great (and feed 40!). My mom has been an amazing baker forever and she CAN'T stop talking …about how amazing Jenna's cake was!! She even had cake for breakfast (which is NOT like her at all!) the day after the party! The cake Jenna made was absolutely beautiful, everyone was amazed when I brought it out, it was such a gorgeous cake!

And then we tasted it... wow! We opted for white cake with raspberry buttercream and every single plate was EMPTY after we served it! The buttercream was incredible with the perfect amount of raspberry flavor. The cake itself was moist and delicious and my mom kept commenting how it was a classic, old school style cake recipe and that the baker really must know her stuff ;) She absolutely does!

Jenna, thank you for making our event that much more special! Can't wait to order more from you in the future! And if you're thinking of ordering, don't hesitate! You won't regret it! Afficher la suite

Jenna did an amazing job with our custom wedding cake. She was so helpful, super patient and easy to work with. She delivered our cake to our reception venue, it was all set up and ready to go when we… walked in. She made the wedding cake the easiest part of the wedding planning process!

Jenna is absolutely amazing! Such a talented artist and wonderful baker/decorator! She captured exactly what we wanted for our wedding cake/cupcakes, and they were a huge hit - all in attendance loved… the flavours and couldn't stop raving about how beautiful the cupcakes were!

Jenna also took careful care in making sure the cake and cupcakes were gluten free. As a celiac, she really took my health into concern and double and triple checked to make sure all ingredients were safe for me to eat.

I can not recommend Jenna, and Shortie cakes, highly enough!! She deserves a gold star for customer service excellence. I was beyond thrilled with the end results, and will use her for all my future events! Afficher la suite

Jenna was such a pleasure to work with!! I reached out to Jenna to get a tea pot/cupcakes made for a bridal shower and she went above and beyond to make them resemble the rest of the colors for the br…idal shower. All the guests raved about how delicious the cupcakes were, especially how they weren't very sweet like other bakeries. Overall, I highly recommend Jenna to anyone looking for a baker!!! Jenna was simply amazing! Aside from being a very creative baker, she was also very easy to talk to and open to any of the suggestions that my son had for his birthday cupcakes. My son had a VERY sp…ecific idea in mind and Jenna went above and beyond to make sure that he got exactly what he wanted.
