I had something trivial weighing on my conscience, and took the opportunity of finding a parking spot out front of the Shrine, to exercise the sacrament of reconciliation. The Priest was non-judgement...al, and encouraged me to seek through prayer and meditation, guidance from God. See More

A wonderful, welcoming, diversified Catholic community that puts its faith into action. Meaningful liturgies that reflect the hearts of the congregation. A blessing to the city of Boston.

I love being a Franciscan friar. One reason I'm so happy is that I love being a friar who lives at Arch Street and is able to serve the people of Boston in some small way.

Visited Boston from DC with my friend and sister. We had trouble finding a Mass but so thankful when we found St. Anthony's! What a blessing. The Mass was uplifting, the music was joyful, and to be in... a place that serves those in need in countless ways was just beautiful! See More

Well, I have to say, after my very expensive hearing aids went missing for months, both myself and my mother requested Saint Anthony to help us. Today I opened my wallet and where there were no hearin...g aids, there were hearing aids!!!!! Thank you Saint Anthony! Sent a check in Thanksgiving! See More

I am a firm believer of the powers God has given St. Anthony. I have been reciting The Novena almost daily either to ask for a special favor or to give thanks for received prayer. My first miracle occ...urred in 2007 when I was stuck in a war torn country without a plane ticket to get back to U.S. I went to St. Anthony's Shrine in Sri Lanka daily & prayed fervently. Within 3 days, I managed to get money transferred from a very good friend in Beverly Hills, CA to the Travel Agency & managed to fly back home without incident. The corrupt Govt. who assumed I was taking the early am flight, (I had secretly managed to leave late night-early am); had bombed the International Departures section of the Airport. They must have assumed I was headed for London. I went via Singapore! See More

I grew up in Dorchester as a child and when we went downtown we always visited the shrine to light a candle and say a prayer for my Dad who died in 1971 of cancer. My mother would have a mass said onc...e a year as well. Such a beautiful shrine. See More

I have been going to St. Anthony's Church since 1963. I still go every Saturday or Sunday morning. Surely the presence of the Lord is in this place, everyone can feel his mighty power and his grace.... The doors are open to EVERYONE,the brothers are there to help and cleanse everyone. It is a miracle I feel every time I leave there. What a wonderful new beginning and forgiveness just for being there.

I am a Legally Disabled Individual with a Very Severe Spinal Injury. This Past Saturday My Eldest Son, Adam, Drove Me to the Shrine Where I had an Appointment with Father Hugh Hines a Genuinely Wonder...ful Priest Who Listened Patiently to My Dilemma. After YEARS of Praying to St. Anthony Who HAS Answered Many of My Prayers VERY Specifically Father Hines After Questioning Me Regarding a VERY Major 'Concern'/Issue I Have Been Worried About for 30 YEARS Explained to Me After Hearing My Confession and Administering Holy Communion and Anointing Me with Holy Oil for the Sick That Contrary to My Belief I was STILL a Member of the Holy Roman Catholic Church. Praise God and Thank You St. Anthony and Father Hugh Hines. Allan G. Ramusiewicz See More

Saint Anthony inserts right in the heart of Boston, I love to go there at least once a week most likely it's always quiet when I get there so it gets me time for reflection. Mass in Spanish it's on S...undays but I cannot always go however whenever I do I enjoy it. But the most experience was yesterday 12/24 2016 I was feeling so awkward awful, stressed 😩 wasn't that verge of craziness but after talking to a press in there he spoke to me in a way that you make me feel so good. I love this george please visit See More
