Because it is a great organization, and it seems to be the only avenue available to educate the government and other stakeholders on behalf of the sickle cell patient. The Sickle Cell Association of ...Ontario also educates the general public on behalf of Sickle Cell patients by passing on knowledgeable information on the concept of what Sickle Cell Anemia is and how to avoid transferring full blown sickle cell to one's offspring. The organization is also in desperately in need of volunteers and contributions. The Sickle Cell Association of Ontario is a Registered Charity, and issues Tax Receipt for all contributions. Your contribution will be greatly appreciated to carry on with this very important work. Thank you. Hermine Johnson, a former president of this organization. See More
