Nine teams played in this weekend's Sidney Senior Tournament. Nice days and great baseball!

Sidney's Stingray swim team hosted its first meet at the new Aquatic Center Saturday. More than 150 competitors from 7 towns christened the pool with their efforts.

Joe Garcia of Infinity Construction from Scottsbluff works on a portion of Fort Sidney Road. If all goes as planned, the crew will pour the final section of Fort Sidney near Toledo on Friday.

Cheyenne County Chamber of Commerce will officially celebrate Cheyenne County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) to a new location Thursday with a ribbon cutting and Business After Hours open house.
CASA is now located at 1108 10th Ave., directly across the street from the Cheyenne County Courthouse.

Hear Nebraska is a non-profit organization with a goal to make Nebraska "an internationally know cultural destination." Co-founder and Executive Director Andrew Norman "thought that by promoting what is a really cool underdeveloped natural resource, which is music, we could change peoples impressions across the world about what Nebraska is."
Hear Nebraska is currently on a twelve day story telling tour across Nebraska.

P.S. When it comes to the pun, we regret nothing.

According to the National Weather Service, the tornado warning for South Central Cheyenne County has expired.

The storm which prompted the warning was weakened below severe limits and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado. However, small hail and heavy rain are still possible.
