Tastes like Better, you say? Well, it used to taste like Best, but now it tastes like "Better Than Donkey Sweat, Maybe?" We're at leat a 3 half-gallon per week household, mostly as a cream alternative... in coffee. We thought maybe some imitation vanilla flavored beans had accidentally been mixed into our coffee, but not the case. The new formula is awful. Thanks for all the great years Silk, you were so dependable. Unfortunately, your decision to mess with the flavor we loved has us running to find another almond milk. When you find out you can't sell that swill and change the flavor back to taste like actual almond milk, let us know. See More

I never ever do reviews on anything however today my daughter poured some of the coconut silk milk in my grandson’s bottle. Not only was there something brown ( that look like a parasite) in it a long... cardboard piece fell into the bottle. Of course l called the company to complain and was offered a dry apology and free vouchers for some more milk. I explained to the representative I wasn’t calling to receive anything for Free I can purchased more milk, my concern was the object that fell into my grandson’s bottle. The representative pretty much told me that it’s almost impossible for that to happen and it was probably just mold that formed into a odd shape. I told the representative to send me the email address and I would send the pictures. This object was hard and was no way possible mold. She pretty much told me they would get back with me. This is very unacceptable and you should never make the customers feel as if they are lying. I know it’s people out here looking for some hand outs but my concern was what my grandson could have consumed and possibly could have got sick from.. See More

I have been drinking Silk Light Original Almond milk for several years, and enjoyed it much more than Almond Breeze. I used it as a milk substitute in everything, including cooking in both savory and... sweet recipes. The new formula tastes artificial, has a sweet aftertaste, and almost has a slightly vanilla flavor. I cannot use it for recipes because it makes everything taste weird, and I don't even like to drink it on its own anymore. Based on other reviews here, most people have the same opinion about your new formula. It's not working. Until the formula is changed back to the way it was, I'll be buying your competitor. See More

Silk almond milk original and the Vanilla almond milk used to be the only milk my son would drink. He could tell if I got any other brand and would only drink Silk brand. Since they changed the taste “new smoother taste you’ll love” he won’t touch it! He takes a sip and makes a sour face and spits it out. I sure hope they go back to the way it used to taste. See More

What happened?! I used to love the vanilla almond milk creamer and now it tastes chemically disgusting. I won't buy it again unless you change back to the old formula and put it back in the carton. Wh...y change something that was already great? I'm highly disappointed and extremely dissatisfied. Please admit you made a mistake and that you are going to listen to your customers and go back to the old one. Please? See More

We used to go through so many cartons of Silk Almond milk and Creamer until they changed the taste. Now, I have to use the soy creamer because the almond on tastes sooo bad. If I wanted a creamer that... tasted like Nestle's Carnation I'd buy their creamer. Plus there is so much more sugar in it now! Not to mention other additives like pea protein. What was wrong with the original formula? Now I see that you changed the formula in your unsweetened almond milk. At this rate I won't be buying any Silk products in the near future! So disappoined. Always go for unsweetened almond and cashew for baking and cooking needs. Always go for chocolate almond or cashew when we have a sweet tooth. Just tried almond milk yogurt, and it is the best non-dai...ry yogurt I've tried yet! Please bring to more stores!!! We also miss our caramel almond milk creamer that our local Kroger never keeps in stock anymore! See More

I appreciate the variety of alt-milks you product and I'm grateful you source non-gmo ingredients.
I have two questions:
1. Will Silk ever offer ORGANIC and gmo-free options?...
2. Why the plastic cap on a paper carton? Don't you think opening the end of a paper carton is sufficient? We all grew up with these kind of dairy milk paper cartons that crack open simply on one end. Would Silk consider discontinuing use of non-recycleable plastic pieces on paper cartons, out of concern for the state of the world's oceans which are horribly polluted with plastics?

Nutchella was creamy, rich in flavor, and one of the few non dairy drinks I was willing to drink. Sad to see it gone I literally bought a local shops entire stock each time they stocked it, ever consi...der doing a smaller scale production for online sale on places like amazon or checking the best selling locations to also furfill those areas desires? You're a bunch of scumbags. Ignoring your customers is a great way to lose business and that's exactly what happened here. To anyone looking for something better than this scumbag company I refer you Laird Superfoods. They don't have liquid creamers like Silk does but they don't ignore their customers and their creamers are actually good for you. Fuck you Silk. Greedy uncaring corporate scum. See More

I agree with most of the comments on this page! Since you "changed the taste" my original almond milk tastes like some type of vanilla substitute and it tastes gross. I have since changed to a new bra...nd cause I can't stand this new taste. I'm saddened to say you lost a loyal customer, Silk. See More

Constructively I can say this milk “was” great tasting. Recently the consistency has become slimy. Hopefully for being our household brand for the last four years, our voices will be heard so a change... or improvement will be considered. We will not purchase this product any longer. We would need to see a change in consistency to bring this product back to our family. See More

Because dairy milk is not an option for several family members, Silk is our go to substitute. They have minimal ingredients and a variety of flavors, plus an unsweetened option that is very important to us!

What happened to the Vanilla Almond creamer-- its truly horrible. I would buy 4 a week and now cant even finish 1. Its not only the packaging, the consistency is thinner, the smell is NOT vanilla an...d the after taste is like I used aspartame. Please switch this back. See More

While most organic companies pledge to continue their high standards of organic purity upon being bought out, it doesn’t always work that way in practice.

For example Silk, a popular almond milk bran...d, actually switched from non-GMO to GMO soybeans without telling their customer base upon being purchased by WhiteWave, a spin-off company of the massive pro-GMO corporation Dean Foods. See More

The new formula for the almond creamer is terrible. Why did you need to increase calories, sugar, and add fat? It used to be a fantastic choice but now it's just as bad as regular creamer. What a disa...ppointment. I will no longer purchase this brand. See More

I like the almond coconut milk options that are low calorie, I would like to see less sugar in the chocolate almond milk with protein. It’s hard to find a chocolate milk without carrageenan that is that size.

I think it's funny how I see 1 star or 5 stars and no in between but it's mainly about bad/disappearing products..

ANYWAYS, I absolutely LOVE the vanilla and light vanilla milk and especially the nog... original!! I appreciate your products since its extremely difficult for my body to take in dairy products nowadays and will continue to buy silk as long as you all are around. Thanks for such an amazing product!!! See More

I *was* LOVING your Silk Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk on my cereal every morning and as a glass of "milk" every evening and would have given it 5 stars until this new change... "New Silky Smooth Ta...ste" - BLEGH!

What happened is it now tastes more WATERY, NOT creamier or silkier.
I just finished that carton and today tried Almond Breeze Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk and right now, they have you beat on taste - 5 stars kind of beat.

I'd like to go back to Silk brand, but you'll have to actually make it creamier like it used to be. I don't like buying something that now tastes like flavored water and nothing more. Yuck
