International Permaculture Convergence - IPC India 2017 is with Raya Cole.

Inspired by an extensive education in permaculture, Raya Cole has developed two of her own farms with permaculture principles and has done consultancy in the US...A, Canada, Costa Rica and India. She is currently the coordinator of Living Ecology which initiated a common internship programme with Aranya Agricultural Alternatives in India. Her goal is to provide advanced mentorship and training to permaculture students while developing knowledge sharing, and field collaboration between the students and local marginal farmers. She actively supports them in turning into confident designers who know how to start an effective aid project anywhere in the world. She also learns a lot from India’s rich and diverse environment, especially as an herbalist. She owns a medicinal herbal product business, another great set of knowledge that she enjoys nourishing and sharing. Concerned by the issue of water shortage in both California and India, her topic will be focused on water management techniques.

International Permaculture Convergence - IPC India 2017

It has always been at the heart of the International Permaculture Convergence to ensure that the event is truly representative of the permaculture movement and ...projects from all across the Globe. The world in which we all live, being what it is, everyone does not have access to the same resources to be able to join, learn from other participants and share their experiences. But isn’t permaculture solution-driven? At least, that is what we, Aranya Agricultural Alternatives, together with the International Permaculture Convergence Council (IPCC) and Friends of IPC (FIPC) believe!

We’ve had over 40 scholarship applications from permaculture practitioners in Nepal, Vietnam, Malawi, Thailand, Trinidad, Gambia, Haïti, Mexico and other beautiful places… Now is the time to build our scholarship funds and welcome as many scholars as possible, and this is where you can make a difference! By choosing to participate in our crowdfunding campaign, you will show that every voice from every part of the globe matters and contribute to spreading permaculture in some of the regions that need it the most! We warmly thank you for your contribution and hope to meet you some time in the future to say it personally.

Every contribution, even the smallest one counts. To participate, visit:…
