I was sent to siskins from Vanderbilt in Nashville. When I arrived I was greeted by some of the most caring staff ever. I arrived being paralyzed from the Brest down,. They went right to work on me t...eaching me how to use my arms to help me to move. The next day I meet the PT and OT staff and was exercised by moving and stretching parts that didn't work. As the whole team kept my mind on doing the best I could they had a plan ,. Every morning was awake by the great nursing staff with morning meds, then approximately 8:00 Dr E and Mark would be in to check on me only to be followed by the mighty Alice to get me started with OT (if they say size don't matter there right) or Mika if she was out . Would not take no for an answer,. And they saved my life. Then cam Ben and his team in PT every movement I made was like a mile but I would hear it takes time so twice a day slowly daily we made improvement from nothing to setting for Alice and standing on the board for Ben and the team. It was always at a slow safe speed but I new I had all the faith in the total team. My nursing also pushed Kayla, Tonya, and Mary were my regs. The were some of the greatest support worked to help me re learn how to use the bathroom room and never made you feel less a person and the nurse asst were out of this world the put up with the words of me but in the end so of the greatest support and I feel best friends. Space and time will allow all the story so to end the staff was one of the greatest teams I've ever had the privilege to work with they really saved my life and are giving me a chance to live again. Now in out patient with a new crew then Jake great personality and fun to work with but doesn't believe in slack he believes in you and pushes for the best so thanks I see great results coming be proud of the Siskin team I know I could not be where I I'm today if not for the Siskin Team A great thanks to all the Best of the Best See More

The good Americans at Siskin Hospital helped me during one of the most difficult times in my life in recovering from a severe one car accident I was severely injured in on August 10, 2010. I would not... have recovered back to the status that I am today if it had not been for the kind, courteous, and understanding professional staff that helped me. I sincerely thank all of you very much and God be with all of you always.

Truly struggling with this rehabilitation hospital. My mother has been there two days after a bilateral knee replacement, and not only has she been treated poorly--they have not listened to her, or ac...ted like they care. I could give examples, but I will refrain. I do not understand why an individual goes into healthcare if they do not care for humans in general. My mom has cried all day, and can't seem to get any help from the staff. I've heard amazing things about this hospital, but for this family and my mother we are not impressed and will not be returning. See More

Im not sure where all of you are coming from. This hospital staff is awful! My poor sister had a brain tumor removed and went to Siskins for rehab 8 days ago. She is paralyzed on her left side and she... has to beg for someone to come and help her. To top it off, a family member just found her in a dangerous situation. She was undressed, tangled in her bed clothes and could not get to the cell phone or call button! The cord to the hospital phone was wrapped around her body! How dare them treat her that way. I pray no one else ever suffers like my sister has at the hands of care givers. See More
