It is impressive that the 300 surv...iving Wendat — a people once numbering c. 30,000 — who came to Quebec preserved and promoted their culture and heritage, and built this community for themselves. We visited the site in August 2016. We were well welcomed and got to have lunch and saw their tradi...tional dance. We also had a guided tour and got to know how they lived traditionally. Would recommend visitors to go there. See More
