I had the pulled pork which was good, but even better with the hot BBQ sauce. Fries were very good as well. Next time brisket and beans.

Best ribs in town!
Best burnt ends!
tender meat cooked just right not too fatty....
havent tried everything on the menu yet but what we have was so yummy..

Kids and I ate on Saturday night, food was great service was fast even though they were slammed. I took take out for the wife and it was well put together and tasted great.

Best in Kansas City. Come see for yourself. Ribs, pulled pork, brisket, burnt ends, moist turkey and ham, smoked half chickens. Combo plates and sandwiches

This place is awesome. Food is excellent, staff is always friendly. I want to try something else, but the smoked chicken is just too good. Best mild sauce I've found in KC so far. Smoky sweet like... Chicago style. See More

My 1st visit to Smokey's today. I wasn't expecting to see a few signature dishes, but did, and the one that caught my appetite was the BBQ spaghetti. I ordered mine with chopped brisket. Loved it, ver...y tasty! The service was great, as even the owner stopped by to make sure everything was good.

I love the local business scene. Such hard work and dedication. I'll definitely be back and will recommend it to my friends.

Stopped in for the first time last night. Amazing! Service was great. Food was awesome. If you have a big appetite, try the blvd. I'll be back frequently, considering it is about a 2 minute walk from work.

My wife and I are new to town. Jason, the owner, greeted us and struck up some great conversation. He hooked us up with some awesome food including a new dish he was working on (smoked ham in BBQ sauc...e). Everything was simply outstanding! Thanks Jason and Crew! See More

One of the best barbecues in Kansas City!!!!! Try the egg rolls they were great and different I will definitely be back The burntends are some of the best I've ever had

My friends wanted to come here, I wasn't in mood for a little joint on the back fortys so surroundings yet EXCELLENT FOOD! Everything we had was above and beyond tender and tasty and hot.... Could use just a couple more beer selections, like the boulevards or red apple, itd be a perfect accompaniment. Going back and bringing more friendss even though I live an hour away, customer service was above and beyond as well. See More

Finally South OP has a great BBQ joint to order from or eat at. Awesome huge ribs with great smokey flavor. Burnt ends are amazing, so is the pulled pork. Also, the guys are awesome that run the pl...ace and smoke the meats. I recommend this place to anyone. See More

was here tonight and the food was amazing, best service ive had in a very long time and jason came out and talked for a bit. my wife son and I will be back. this is now our go to place for good kc bbq.

I haven't been there since my dad passed away, but we used to go there often and it was fantastic! They even sent you home with bones for your dogs!

This was an awful experience. The woman who took my order was not honest with the pricing and wouldn't correct it when i questioned her. I called back and talked with owner who could've cared less a...bout helping. The food was mediocre. I asked for lean meat and it was fatty. Doubt I'll come back. See More

On Monday's we are closed here at smokeys. Usually we spend time on the food truck, or we actually try our best to relax. But today we are making some improvements to the restaurant. We open tomorrow at 11 for you to come see what we got workin but here's a sneak peak of what's to come!
Folks, it all starts with our Hickory. First cut and laid down for aging. Then cured and split. Picking the right log for the right batch of meats. We do this because our customers matter!
Another great cook! Fresh hickory smoked hand sliced brisket on special. We got briskets off the smoker every hour on the hour!

Dear friends and customers. Some of you know but most may not, we had a small typhoon in Smokeys when water pipes and the fire sprinkler system erupted. We're temporarily closed for repairs.

But today Smokeys GM Daniel Odum and I delivered BBQ for 500 homeless and less fortunate souls at the St. James Restaurant of Bishop Sullivan.
