As an entertainer the Smyrna Yacht Club for me is the best place to play when it comes to private functions. The staff are helpful and friendly. Management is very flexible and accomadating. Also, the... room sounds amazing. I highly recommend if you are planning a wedding or private function. See More

I'm the painting contractor that just finished giving this place a thorough face lift. Of all the projects I've been involved with over the last decade, hands down one of my favorites! The people here... are warm and friendly. They have gone out of their way to make me feel appreciated. If you have a love for the water, boats, and feeling like you belong, then I recommend you come by and see for yourself. See More

Very relaxing evening, in a peaceful and quiet environment... so hard to find in a restaurant these days. Barbara and I both had the specials for the evening, and both were excellent. SYC is truly one... of NSB's gems. See More

As we slowly get back to normal an update:
Today we restored infrastructure to the Club which included power, water and phone systems. We still need internet and we will begin to be able to communicate via email. The club incurred about 1ft of water in our lowest levels. We started the process of renovating today which included removing carpet and setting up dehumidifiers.

The outer docks on the ICW were destroyed. Boat owners that occupied a slip out there will need to make alternative plans to house their boats for the foreseeable future. Hopefully tomorrow we will have our internet capabilities back online and will be able to communicate with the entire membership again. Thanks for your support and understanding.

Unfortunately Irma was not very nice to us. The Club sustained considerable damage but not catastrophic. Just like last year we will rebuild. Cleanup effort begins tomorrow morning. Hope everyone stayed safe last night.

It was a rough night and I hope everyone fared well. Once the curfew is lifted we will begin our damage assessment. We will update you on Facebook and email as we can.

If any member is willing and able and you do not need your sandbags we could always use more. You can go to the location at 124 Industrial Park Ave. They will ask to see your ID and you will need to bring your own shovel. Our staff physically cannot shovel anymore sand. Thanks!

Impacts to our area will begin to be felt as early as Saturday morning with the brunt of the storm passing through Sunday and Monday. Please be advised that SYC will have normal business hours Wednesday and Thursday. We will be closed Friday-Tuesday. This will give us ample time to continue storm preparations.
