Somerville Police Respond to Loose Pitbull Foaming at the Mouth Attacking Dog Walkers Dogs By William Tauro Early Tuesday evening, Somerville Police Officer Randy Isaac's responded to a call of a loose pitbull trying to attack other dogs at the dog park located on New Washington Street in Somerville. When Isaac's arrived on location he noticed that the dog was foaming from the mouth and was trying to attack a dog walker with her two dogs. Officer Isaacs humanely sprayed around the perimeter of the dog with this pepper spray trying to avoid hitting the dog with it then gently guided the dog away with his baton. Soon after Officer Ross O'Meara arrived on scene and scooted the dog into his cruiser to try to find its owner.
