Please, once again, consider donating towards our stray animal fund!! We have had 5 cats and 3 bottle fed kittens dumped at our door within the last 3 weeks. Until we get the balance out of the negative, we can't help anymore animals. You can either donate on the gofundme page, gofund.me/2jtbvp8, stop by the clinic or even call in a credit card number over the phone. Every little bit helps!!
Thank you in advance!!
Help spread the word!
Any amount helps!!

Please help this old chihuahua!
I found this poor guy last night after seeing the neighborhood kids throwing rocks at him. He has what looks to be a ruptured eye, an ear infection, deep infected wounds and more than likely will need to have his tail amputated. He was so incredibly dehydrated that I didn't think he would make it through the night. My neighbor and I decided to take him to the emergency clinic. We knew the bill would be high, but decided to split the cost and give this guy a chance.
He pulled ...through surgery and is now resting comfortably at my neighbor's house.
Please consider donating toward his bill. My neigbor and I paid for his surgery last night, but neither one of us has the extra $800 a piece we ended up paying. But, our only other choice was euthanasia.
Unless his owners come forward, he will be ready for adoption after his drain tubes are removed. He will be vaccinated, tested for FeLV and FIV and will also have him microchipped!
Thanks in advance! No amount is too small!!

Last Saturday one of our client's dog had 9 puppies. The owner brought the little guy to us to see what could be done. I offered to tube feed the puppy until he got strong enough to go back with the litter. Turns out....he has a hole on the roof of his mouth that will not allow him to nurse from a bottle or from momma. If he does, the milk will go up his nose and possibly be aspirated into his lungs....which causes pneumonia. I will have to tube feed him until he starts eatin...g solid food. Surgery can be done to fix this problem, but our vets don't do that type of surgery. He will have to go to another clinic.
I called around and got quotes of $2500-$3000, depending upon the severity of the cleft palate. I know we have sent a lot of these fundraisers out to people, but we have been seeing an awful lot of stray and unwanted animals and the only other choice is euthanasia if we don't try to save them!!

This little girl was left with us Saturday at the clinic. It looks like she has been hit by a car. The doctor thinks she has a pelvic fracture. On top of that, she has an upper respiratory infection, an eye infection or injury and fleas. The poor thing is only 4 months old.
Please consider donating for her medical care to give her a chance! You can call in donations directly to the clinic at 713-777-0543 or go to www.gofund.me/s5e4t8e4
Thank you to everyone who has generously donated money to assist us in helping the multitude of stray and injured animals that are abandoned at our clinic. Unfortunately, our rescue fund has been in the negative for quite a while and we need your help before we can offer more free and discounted services to rescue groups! If we can continue to raise money, we can continue to help the many strays and rescue groups that we help support! Any amount, big or small, helps!
Thank you for your support, kindness and generosity! Merry Christmas!

This morning, a kind lady witnessed a man take the momma dog and her puppies, put them in the road, get back in his car and run them all over. After she got his license plate, she returned to the dogs only to find one of the puppies still alive. She brought him in to us. He is very anemic, but we didn't find any blood in his abdomen, which is a good sign that he is not bleeding internally. He does have a chest injury but we gave him some medicine and will give him a blood transfusion if necessary. (Moose is a universal blood donor)!!
If you would like to donate towards his care, either call us at 713-777-0543, or donate at this site: gofund.me/qttvr8
Please pass this on if you can!!
One of our clients desperately needs help!! She found a cat and graciously decided to foster her. Her dog and foster got into a fight and she had to take her to the emergency clinic last night. She spent $600 on her and wasn't able to afford the extra $500 they wanted to charge her for an xray. The kitty is not really doing any better and really needs to be rechecked and x-rayed. If anyone can donate towards her care, it would be appreciated. She really couldn't even afford the $600 but didn't want the kitty to suffer!! Please help her out! If you can't donate, please share with as many people as you can! To donate, please call us at 713-777-0543!
This kitten is ready for adoption! Contact us at 713-777-0543 or email@example.com
Remember this little kitten? She was brought to us after someone found her and had no money for vet care. We did surgery to amputate her leg and she is now ready to be adopted. Please call us at 713-777-0543 if you are interested!
Our client had to bury her son a couple of months ago, and now his dog needs your help! He needs to see a specialist ASAP! He has fluid in his lungs and has a hard time breathing. He is heartworm negative and is only 12 months old. He has to have the fluid drained from his lungs and have a culture done on the fluid to see what is going on. If you can donate towards his medical bills it would be greatly appreciated. No amount is too small! Please share with anyone you think could help!! Charlie is an incredibly sweet dog...and came in wagging his tail despite his serious condition!

This pup, and her puppies, need a foster or forever home!
2 days ago....a client brought in a puppy that looked like it was just delivered. Today....the same client located the momma dog...she was hidden behind some p...otted plants at an apartment complex next to someone's deck nursing 2 other puppies. We got her out...gave her back her puppy...and now needs a foster home. The client has her now. She has been vaccinated...wormed and tested for heartworms (negative). If you are able to foster please let me know. It will be at least 6-7 weeks!!
One of our clients found a day old puppy laying next to the sidewalk and brought him to the clinic. She finally found the mama dog hidden with 2 other puppies. She has shelter, food and plenty of water but needs a safer place to nurse her puppies. She is a small dog (under 10 lbs). If anyone can foster her, please let us know! 713-777-0543, firstname.lastname@example.org

Anyone looking for a kitten??? This little girl was just left here today. Please call South Gessner Pet Clinic at 713-777-0543. A vet reference is required before adoption. We will give her shots and worm her!!
This poor kitten needs help! Missing leg!
South Gessner Pet Clinic had a kitten brought in this morning that is about 4 months old. She somehow lost a leg, but the bone is left protru...ding out of the skin. When the lady found her, she had 1000's of maggots that she had to remove. The kitten is still eating, but she is very anemic (lots of blood loss). Surgery will need to be done, but she needs to be wormed and started on antibiotics first. The lady who found her doesn't have the money to cover the surgery. If you can PLEASE DONATE, please call the clinic at 713-777-0543.
If you are unable to donate, PLEASE SHARE!
