So I have always been a train fanatic and I have loved steam trains the most. This was a dream come true to ride on #136 the volunteers were phenomenal. And we loved it so much we are going on the Hal...loween train. I can't wait to share this experience with all my friends!

The Easter train was kind of a disappointment. Although effort was made for prizes and interaction, the “Easter bunny” should have been a mascot - not a teenager dressed in a bunny costume. Not the believable, even for a 3 year old. See More

I have three devasted children today after getting off the Santa Train today. We have been taking the Santa Train for five years and it is one of our favourite Christmas traditions, until today. My da...ughter, who is five, asked why Santa didn't like her since he never even spoke to her or any of my children and my son thought he had been bad. Santa sat, took a quick picture and got up and moved on without speaking to any of them. Every other year he has taken a minute or two to speak to the children and have them sit on his lap. He was done seeing all the children on the train with loads of time to spare so time is not an excuse. To make matters worse, Santa in his street clothes actually cut my son off getting off the train which is raising lots of questions tonight. Very disappointed. I expect more from Santa. My poor children have lost faith in who is suppose to be the kindest man and if I can't fix this perhaps in Santa at the ages of five, five and seven. See More

Took our two children, 6 and 3, on the Halloween train last night. Great memories for all the family and my kids loved it. My eldest the was super happy as she won a prize for the best costume! The tr...ain was pretty cool too, although the ride was a little shorter than I'd have liked. Overall, definitely worth the trip out from Toronto though. Would go again. See More

We took our son on the train ride with Santa on Sunday and it was excellent (as it has been for the past 4 years). The train was all decked out for Christmas, the volunteers were friendly and efficien...t and Santa was charming and funny (and well dressed- great red suit!). We love it and look forward to it every year. See More

The loco is so beautifully restored and to be able to get close up and really have a good look is quite a thrill. The brief trip into the country and back is pleasant enough. It is a real blast from... the past! See More

What a great experience. Old time feel, little history lesson, a few punny jokes. Beautiful views and old but restored comfy coaches. here's to all the volunteers who clearly have a passion. Two biker...s have never had such a surprisingly good ride. See More

Sitting behind the tender and smelling the smoke and coal dust, brought memories when I was ten years old. Riding the switch engine up the hump at Neebing yard dressed in my Sunday best and coming hom...e with my father looking like I played in minstrel show...... See More

Fantastic experience, although for a preschooler it was a bit much as far as having to sit down so long and quite slow of a train ride.
But a definite repeat for the coming years!

Took the grandkids for a train ride and we loved it. The stories and historical information along with the ride was enjoyable. We are checking into the ghost train ride in October.
