I recently lost my beloved mother and truly didn’t know what my first step should be. I called and spoke with Andie who took the reins and handled everything, making it incredibly easy to focus on my ...family! When I went there personally for paperwork, Tom treated me as though I were part of his family! He made the most trying time of my life bearable and quite honestly, I wouldn’t have been able to convey to anyone what Tom intrinsically understood! I am so very grateful and would love to tell everyone how wonderful these people are!
Thank you so very much!! ♥

I have read thru all the comments, I see where the company replies to the "positive remarks and comments" why would you not reply to the people who is asking you about the elderly lady with the husban...d , and you threatening to put her in jail for a measly $1000
Are we not good enough for a reply ,I too would like to help pay her bill, so she can spend the rest of her golden years out of jail and with her husbands remains with her at home....

It is absolutely horrible that this funeral home did not help a person in need or offer payment plans. You don't deserve to be in business if you can't help people. You make plenty of money in this in...dustry and over charge people. See More

Bianca, Robert and Sylvia were fantastic. They were on top of everything with a caring and sincere smile on their faces. We all felt like they were a part of our grieving family and took special care ...of our loved one. The Zieminick family couldn’t have asked for a better staff to help us through such a hard time. Thank you! See More

The people at Cheatham Hill made the process of making arrangements for my loved one as simple as possible. The death was sudden and tragic and Jennifer was compassionate, reassuring, knowledgeable, ...and professional. Her guidance left a lasting impression I will never forget. The entire staff was great. Exactly 7 months ago today I lost my mother. I'm not from Georgia but my mother was a resident in Georgia at the time of her death. This amongst other things made things really complex. From the mo...ment I called Southern cremations they were very comforting and reassuring. Once I finally arrived there it was so tranquil and beautiful. The staff was inviting and I had the pleasure of working with Funeral director Audrey Rivera she was very compassionate, kind, patient, understanding, and flexible. Myself and my brother will never forget Audrey and Southern Cremations & Funerals. You all worked within our budget and made a very difficult time so much easier. For this we thank you. See More

REVIEW OF THE WEEK: "After going through the experience of fighting off "The Used Car Salesman" style mortuary will my Dad passed in 1985; I was not in the mood for it when Mom died this past Nov 2017. Southern Cremations & Funerals was not the first mortuary called, but when I got that first quote for a simple cremation; I literally laughed. When I did reach Southern Cremations & Funerals, to say that they were practically priced and compassionately efficient would be an und...erstatement...when I needed someone the most. Thomas Burnham was the gentleman that handled Mom's remains for SC&F. I am truly grateful for his emotionally sensitive touch to such a heartbreaking moment. I chose an artistic glass memorial for Mom's ashes; how horrific would it be to see that beautiful work of art be the constant reminder of someone acting as if they were selling me a used Buick?" - Myke Julius, 5-Star Yelp Review on 12/14/17
