  • This was my first time ordering for a luncheon of 30 people from you...r deli department. The manager Jerry in your Chino Hills store guaranteed I would be pleased with the results. My expectations were not only met, but were exceeded!!! Thank you Gio! You did a fantastic job! The presentation, the freshness and everything was delicious!!! Thank you Reed for having everything ready for me when I arrived and helping me load everything into my car! Hang on to Gio!!!! Very satisfied!! "10" on every point!!     Another proof that great things can come out of not so great ones an...d that one person can make a huge difference... So a few weeks ago, Lala and I went shopping at the Goleta Sprouts and I burned my hand twice trying to reach out for one of their rotisserie chickens. Needless to say, I was in pain and disappointed so I emailed Sprouts customer service department right away to let them know what had happened. I was happy it had been me and not Lala and wanted to make sure they were aware of what had occurred so it wouldn't happen to anyone else. Well, their customer service department emailed me back right away and apologized for the incident and said someone from the store would be reaching out to me soon but a week went by and no one did so I emailed them again to no response this time. Yesterday I emailed them one last time to express my disappointment that no one had reached out and while my phone was on silent, I realized I had missed a call and had a voice message. The voice message was from David, the store manager at Sprouts and he profusely apologized for the fact that no one had reached out yet and asked if we could come to the store so he could give us a refund for the chicken and give us a gift card so we went there yesterday after I picked Lala up from school. Upon arriving, David asked us what we were in the mood for for dinner and Lala said she wanted pasta so I said maybe Fettucine Alfredo. David then got a basket and proceeded to select all fresh ingredients for our meal and picked two of each one and two tubs of ice cream! We were dumbfounded at the generosity and even embarrassed. In the end, besides paying for our entire dinner, he provided me with a double refund for the chicken as well as with a $25 gift card, for a total of about $150 spent on us! And to top it off, he said he was a hugger and gave us big hugs before we left! It was one of the most wonderful experiences of our lives ☺ So yes, great things can and do come out of bad things. And now, instead of sharing my disappointing experience, I'm happy to share this awesome story! One person CAN and DOES make a difference! Thank you, David!
