This place is beautiful. The rooms are amazing and cozy and very spacious. The entire area is the most beautiful location. What more can you ask for than to wake up at the base of the mountain and wal...k out your door and jump on the lift or walk around the village and enjoy the food and shops. We will stay here time and time again I am just sad our visit this trio was not longer. See More

A beautiful place to stay, very friendly staff, and very pet friendly. Only downside I have is that it seems maintenance needs to step it up a little. Our room was visited by room service only once d...uring our visit and some liitle things in the room needed to be fixed. All in all a fantastic stay, and will be visiting again hopefully in the winter next time. See More

Just steps to the village. Nice, modern and clean condo homes available. Large pool and hot tub even offering an indoor hot tub as well. The gym has about 12 cardio machines, Nautilus, free weights, b...alls and rollars. The main Lodge has a lobby and the staff is friendly providing great referrals to restaurants, recreation and coupons for these places, too. See More

The location is great. However, the Rooms are pretty run down. We had to change our room when we first arrived because it smelled like mildew and it was unbearable. The second room, the water heater so Loud that we couldn't sleep. So, the engineer had to come to turn it off at night. Front desk's response was, " We have ear plugs" after I objected to her response, she offered to send the engineer.... I don't think anyone would stay here if it wasn't because of the location.
Also, the couch was so dirty with so many spots that I requested sheets from housekeeping in order to cover it up... very disappointed .

Do not stay here during the month of June. They host a cheerleading camp which is very loud (think: sound equipment, loud music and shouting all day). We are their neighbors and they were completely u...nwilling to address the noise issue. This is unacceptable and has made the neighborhood unpleasant. I imagine it's not much fun for their paying guests either.

(I will add in all fairness that for the rest of the year I have stayed here and this is a good place to stay. But in June they have been terrible neighbors. Since the establishment has been unresponsive on the phone, perhaps voicing criticism in public will make a difference).

I would not recommend staying here during the summer months if you are looking for quiet mountain time. There is a large cheerleading camp going on all day every day from at least 8am -8pm for weeks o...n end with 100+ screaming kids and stereo equipment blasting the entire hotel and neighborhood. Repeated requests to turn down the volume and reduce the noise impact have gone unanswered by the hotel staff. I would stay far away during the summer months! See More

Wow. 20 minutes for a bellman?! We checked out 20 minutes ago and the number of folks checking out is extremely low. Over five bell people all pointing fingers at each other. They won't allow us to a cart up?! We're happy to do it ourselves. Leaves a horrible impression to pay over $500 a night for horrendous service over something very very simple. See More

Love staying here with my family. Have stayed at the Squaw Valley lodge once a year for the past few and the kids, wife and myself are always having fun. Excited to go back for our Tahoe winter trip of 2016.
