"In Mexico, 36-year-old Ayon earned a degree in international trade and held several local government jobs, including managing projects to bring investment and job creation to the town of Magdalena de Kino. In Arizona, because she is not here legally, she works as a housekeeper, earning lower wages and also paying fewer taxes."

Wedding in Karamanlis camp

SCM Medical Missions

Looking for engineer or architect or just someone that might be very inventive. The weather is starting to get cold in Greece, the refugees are living in wareh...ouses in tents, with no heat. There is electricity but not much - we are looking for an inexpensive way to heat the warehouse without the use of kerosene, or electricity knowing that there are a lot of children running around- they could knock things over and start fires. You cant have wood fires since the smoke would be too strong. If you have electric heaters the whole electricial system would blow up. So what could be used to keep these places warm with 500 people in a camp. We can get them warm clothing, hand warmers, but that will not be enought. Last year becaused of the bitter cold we lost a number of infants and children. We are open to suggestions. Please pass this on to friends, co workers, inventors or anyone that you think might have an idea. Please do this soon- the cold weather is coming
