A BIG shout out to St. Charles Ambulance for coming to speak this morning in the regards to STOPPING HERION in our community! It was very powerful and moving to hear what they had to say. Please talk to your children if you haven't already, please have another conversation with your children if you have already. Herion overdoses have jumped from 50 in 2008 to over 400 YTD in 2016. We as a community need come together and stop this! If you have an organization/school that would like them to come speak, we strongly encourage you to reach out to Kyle Gaines, St. Charles County Ambulance District.

The St. Charles Sunrise Rotary Club recently hosted a food drive to benefit the OASIS Food Pantry located in St. Charles. A month long collection, both during the meetings and at many businesses, resulted in a generous donation. We are always happy to help our community members who experience higher needs in the summertime. A special thank you goes to Sunrise members Karen Englert and Dave Fricke for delivering all that was collected!
