Stayed here a few times for rugby always happy with the service this hotel provides.
The staff are always happy to support .
Rooms are clean and tidy....
The breakfast is fine .A lot of cabin crew from airlines use this hotel so they must be happy with the service to return.
Thank you S Giles Hotel staff.

Heating thermostat smashed. Reported to reception. No action taken. The two coldest nights in May that I can remember. Alarm on TV set by previous guests for 1am in the morning. Not a good experience.... No stars. See More

We stayed here over the weekend through a package with Thorpe park! Wow what can I say hotel room was huge, clean and very comfy the restaurant was superb and on our breakfast my daughter is a cealic can't eat the usual bread I asked the staff if there was anything on the menu she could eat and he said we have gluten free fresh bread which he sliced and bought out to us 😁 I have never stayed in a hotel that caters for my daughters allergies so for me that made our stay even better! Top marks! See More

We only did an overnight stay here. The room had everything we required except sufficient pillows. One on each bed is just not enough!! However the beds were very comfortable and we both had a good ni...ghts sleep. The bathroom was large and the shower good. The view from the window was a bit drab, but as we were only staying one night it didn't matter.
We were expecting just a continental breakfast so we're very pleased when we were able to have a full English, which was cooked well. The restaurant was open late for evening meals and although we didn't have one, some of our party did and said the food was excellent.
When we requested extra pillows we received them promptly. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Cannot fault this hotel. Stayed here Saturday night with my dad and brothers in a deal for a weekend at Thorpe park. Room was spotless, clean and generally a massive room for the price! We had dinner ...there and it was absolutely beautiful! The restaurant staff were so friendly and made us feel comfortable, they interacted with the boys and even wrapped up their food when they couldn't finish it! The breakfast was lovely and the chefs kept up with the high demand of food so there was always something available and there was a large selection of hot and cold food. Will definitely stay here again, the hotel staff were also lovely and when I needed some more milk for my room they instantly gave me some more and let me chose how much I needed rather than just give me one or two themselves. Lovely hotel with brilliant service! See More

My husband and i stayed here this weekend and we travel a lot and this is the very worst hotel we have ever stayed at. The bedlinen, duvet and towels all stank of old chip fat. The smell in the car pa...rk coming from the extractor fan is the same smell. Housekeeping knocked at 8am and woke us up even though we had the do not disturb sign on the door and overall it was a very disappointing stay. We had stayed here a few years ago and had no complaints but we will definately not return. See More

We alway use this hotel for stays when going the twickenham and have for about 10 years now. This is the first time I have been very disappointed. With the extension we couldn't see out of our window,... the safe was broken, the air con didn't work so we had to have a small plug in heater. Housekeeping knocked on the door at 8.30 on a Sunday morning and again at 10 despite having the do not disturb sigh up. And the breakfast was cold.

This was all very disappointing considering how many times we have stayed. We have all ways considered this hotel to be great value for money but I'm not so sure now.

On a positive note we were allowed to check in early which really helped with getting to the match and the staff were friendly and helpful

The hotel is quite dated, upon check in I was asked to provide ID? Which I thought was a bit odd, and was provided with the wifi password which was at best a very poor connection. The room itself was ...on the 7th floor which I thought great at least I might get a view! The view I got was of scaffolding and a newly constructed building next to the room, the room was really hot and the a/c was totally ineffective. Upon going down for dinner I ordered the Italian mixed grill which was dry and overcooked, my colleague ordered the rump steak in peppercorn sauce which was virtually all gristle, he complained about this and nothing was done. We were only there for a night thank goodness, however the breakfast was alright however the only option with eggs available was scrambled. All in all the hotel is ok but if was to book here again I would look to eat elsewhere as the food wasn't great See More

Stayed here on a tour with highschool students. I didnt see the same problems I see in others comments. Rooms were clean, beds hard but I slept really well. Everything worked good in the room. was good. It took 5 min to check in is all. European hotels are very different then in America. Don't expect things to work the same and things arent as clean but it was fine. Happy with the experience. See More

A list of faults, including no flush in the toilet (which is a door handle), dirty towels left in the room from before my stay, pillows smell, grimy Windows, carpets fraying at the edges, cannot charg...e dinner to my room (am I not trusted?), half the evening menu not available and the breakfast inedible except the rolls. Having stayed in plenty of 3 star hotels for work this is by far the worst. I feel unclean and unrested and have another night to look forward to!

Staff have been nice on the most part.

Stayed there with a group of 23 school kids. Bathrooms didn't work. I found dried blood on my sheets and carpet. The hallway carpets stank. It took 3 hours to get someone up to fix problems even thoug...h the lobby was empty of guest. The restaurant and bar had no lime or lemons - they just don't carry them. Ugh! See More

Very rude manager. I think the name on her badge was Vicky. I asked her at the Desk if I could have some extra coffee and towels and she yelled at me saying that the Hotel is only 3 star and that requ...ests are limited. No manners at all. I asked her if i could speak with the general manager and she answered that she was the General manager and she shouted me to go back to my room if I didnt have anything else to ask. See More

Nice hotel, just in the wrong room. Was not told our room was connected to the new build. They had lock the blind down so we felt like we were in a cell. Other than that, great place to put hour head down.

Staff not helpfull ,rude . Hotel needs up dating very old and tired.when we came back only one lift working had to queue for 10 mins to get back to our rooms because being near Heathrow airport there ...was lots of cabin crew waiting for lift . Had to complain first night had kids running up and down corridors and knocking on doors. at 2am, staff didn't do anything so had it all again second night .breakfast wasn't up to much which is another £10 per person. Food is nice. Staff are friendly. Plenty of car parking. Wifi can work out expensive if you want to do anything other than basic browsing. IE: Netflix/SkyGo etc. are no use unless you want to pay sill...y prices when most other hotels outside of London offer this service free. See More
