We've been wanting to eat at a Stephen Pyle's restaurant for years and it did not disappoint. Great menu for Valentine's Day. The margarita made with frozen nitrogen blew my mind! The pork tacos for a...n appetizer were amazing! My wife had the short ribs server over grits and they were incredible. I had the honey injected fried chicken and that was the best chicken I've ever eaten. We had great service and the general manager stopped by to talk and she was very nice. We can't wait to go back and try the menu on a regular night. See More

Amazing service, and spectacular food, all in an amazing, Texas style atmosphere. Our server, Seneca, was very knowledgeable of the menu, and evertything that came along with it, down to the cooking p...rocess, and procedures. Great job on wowing, us on our first visit. Had the Pork belly tacos as an appitizer they were tender and flavorful, my belly could have stopped there. My entree was a smoked hanger steak, it litterly melted in my mouth so tender, it came with ...a roasted cream corn that was delicious! We ate at the bar and DJ took wonderful care of us. Once you walk in you feel like you are apart of Texas. Greeted immediately and offered a table. We chose to sit at the bar. The bartender was very accommodating. Helped us with the menu and made sugg...estions. The buffalo fried chicken was delicious and the veggie tamale was good too. The shrimp and grits not really any different from other restaurants. But still had good flavor. Cocktails were tasty. We will definitely be back and will always suggest this restaurant. Oh ya! They make a frozen mango marg at your table and freeze it with nitro. I picked this place because my friend, who's a professional chef, highly recommended it. My mom only eats out if the place is excellent so I knew this would be. Ian was our server and he also was exce...llent. He not only made my bday special, but cater to my two year old daughter with such great attention. The food was awesome and everyone was so nice. My husband and I enjoyed a Sunday evening dinner. Service and food were both very good. Best of the evening was the trio country and western musicians, they were fantastic.

Decor was beautiful with a Western inspiration. Friendly, warm and Intimate setting. Great musical entertainment. The food was good, it was a cross between South Western cuisine and New American Our server was attentive. The drinks were just " OK." My husband and I had the Father's Day Chefs menu, which was a great idea, except for the rootbeer float. I'm not sure why we were expected to swap spit/germs just to share one rootbeer float, with one straw, seemed a bit tacky, unsanitary and ridiculous. My expectations were met. Thumbs down for the shared rootbeer float. We enjoyed our evening. I'd return and recommend this place to colleagues, family and friends. Thank you. See More

This review is for the airport location...
Brisket had good smoke flavor, but no bark, no rub flavor and basically was just sitting in juice in the warmer. At least the meet was tender.
Beans were ...the best part.. nice bacon flavor.
Deviled eggs.. sad and disappointing. The eggs were given to me frozen. I asked if that was normal and yep, was advised to let the thaw.... it tasted like a frozen deviled egg.. old.. no flavor and the garnishes were freezer burnt.
BBQ sauces leaned towards the sweet and did compliment the meat ok.
Overall.. for airport food, was not the worst, but definitely would head to another option in DFW over this terminal D option.

Our new favorite place! Everything from the atmosphere to the food to the service was fantastic. It was our daughter's 21st Birthday and they treated her so special and we had not requested anything. ...Little touches like that will bring us back and we will always recommend Stampede 66. See More

Great restaurant design, great service, food was ok. The shiner bock bread was just ok, it needed more flavor. This restaurant is supposed to be Texas style cuisine, well they failed with the barbecue... brisket it was very dry. The Buffalo chicken fried steak was all breading and sauce hardly any meat. At the end we tried the bread pudding which was vastly underwhelming. Definitely need to up the standards. See More

Good atmosphere and excellent service. The cheese board and deviled egg appetizers were very good. The signature margarita is over rated, but fun to watch being made at your table. The main dishes w...ere disappointing. Avoid the chicken fried is all breading with a sliver of meat. The desserts were also disappointing, we had 4 at the table, heaven and hell cake is a 2 at best, donut bread pudding is gimmicky, apple cobbler was more apple saucy than sliced apples and we loved the flavor of the butterscotch pudding however the carmel was not fully cooked therfore grainy. The actual location was difficult to find as the sign is not well lite or positioned, everyone in our party had trouble finding the entrance. See More

Our server Seneca was awesome. We had a the deviled eggs for our appetizer and they were was good, nothing special. I had the quail for my meal and I thought it was delicious. My husband had the fried... buffalo chicken and cleaned his plate, I managed to have a bite of his meal and I would definitely recommend it. Over all it was a pleasant experience and a great way to celebrate my birthday. See More

I was gifted a meal here by my daughter, and it was great. I had fried chicken, and the sous vide cooking plus injection of honey made it both crispy and moist! I noticed my husband eating the chicken... fried steak, and while it is in no way "standard issue Texas style" with cream gravy (it had chorizo based gravy or sauce) he liked it. Great service during the late afternoon, so we were happy. See More

Took 45 to get food and no contact with staff during the wait.

Was dish was horrible. Waiter agreed. Manager nice enough to comp after only 3 bites. ...

Fun decor but don't come for food. Second dish was mediocre at best.

One of our Dallas go-to restaurants that never disappoints. Love their menu choices, the whole theme is very quintessential to Texas cuisine. Finally tried dessert, the cobbler and churros which were ...amazing! Fresh cinnamony sugary goodness. See More

The food was absolutely amazing. The service was fantastic. Everything we ordered was delicious and served beautifully. Thank you so much for such an excellent experience, from the valet to our server..., everyone was so friendly and polite and the atmosphere was wonderful. Being a full time nursing student, employee, and single mom, my idea of nice dining usual involves silverware rolled in paper napkins and a kids menu with corn dogs. I will definitely be back. The food was fabulous. The server made an error on the bill which was "repairable" but the manager was out of line and very inconsiderate. Big error but? Great food and fun atmosphere.
