Coolest place on earth! The whole complex is unbelievably picturesque (especially at night) a great place to see a SHOW either indoors at the Cafe', "The Blast Furnace Room" or outside at Levitt Pav...ilion or "TD Bank stage". There is a Beautiful park area that host many events and Festivals and Two theaters where you will find Independent Films and special presentations that you wont find in your local Multiplex. It's definitely worth the trip, check it out, you won't be disappointed. See More

Big fan of ArtsQuest, and attend events on a fairly regular basis, but this "Poor" review is mainly about the online ticketing for the Frank Banko Theatres. ALL tix online are $10 plus a $1 handling c...harge, which means I can't buy senior or other discounted tickets, and they get an extra buck. The website nav is weak, too. Also, too many clicks to get to the ticket buying page. Now I have to go to the theatre early enough to select the seats I want and hope the show isn't sold out. Get your online movie ticket-buying act together folks. See More

My wife and I have spent many weekends here throughout the past six years. From concerts, to movies, and even having our engagement photos taken on-site. Now that we have our son, we still return for ...children's events and date nights. One of the best locations to spend a weekend in the area and most events are free! See More

I want to give you a 1-star rating but won't because over the past 7+ years we have greatly enjoyed what we've seen, we're former ArtsQuest members, and we volunteered at Musikfest.
I do have to vent ...about some issues I have with your facility;
1. Extremely high ticket "surcharges."
EXAMPLE - just attended the recent Nerds show on 1/26. The ticket choices were $7 for SRO, and $10 for table seating. SRO tickets were hit with a $2 each (almost 30%) surcharge, and the $10 table seats with a $4 each surcharge (that's 40%!) And the charges are regardless whether you order online or in person at the box office. $20 tickets in advance for the Blues Brotherhood = $6.50 each added.
Same show, the bar nearest to the bathrooms had only TWO bartenders! 1 was taking care of the servers' orders, the other was handling the MANY customers waiting at the bar. And of course you're charging Musikfest prices all year long these shows as well. $8 for a large draft beer?!?!
We would come to more events, however, I'm tired of getting hit in the wallet with your outrageous & undefined surcharges, slow service, and high food & beverage prices.

Girlfriend booked 2 tickets for roughly $80. Was compromised at work a few hours later received a verbal message from "maddie" thanks for your service but no refund or voucher. Zero wiggle room, would... have happily settled for a voucher down the road but they refused to budge. They got their penny but not willing to help at all. See More

This would be a really nice venue if not for the seating arrangement in the lower ground level. No staggering of seats so you have someone directly in front of you and if they are tall there is no the stage without leaning into the next person's space. The bleachers in the back are much preferred. See More

We have enjoyed many concerts here indoor and out. The setting is wonderful with the Blast Furnaces lit up at night. The food is quite good and the bar is well stocked, the service staff is friendly a...nd top notch.

The movie theater is one of my favorites in the Lehigh Valley. The film choices are varied and the dinner trays make it fun to munch and watch.

Open Mic on Thursday's is another important addition to the South Side.

SteelStacks is a local treasure.

We had the fortunate experience to work with SteelStacks ArtsQuest on the Lehigh Valley United for Puerto Rico initiative this past year. They treated our artist and attendees with such professionalis...m from start to finish. We were able to raise a significant amount to help relief efforts in Puerto Rico. My husband and our friends come down nearly every week for either Levitt Pavillion, concerts in the cafe, movies, comedy shows or festivals. SteelStacks is a major reason we moved back to Bethlehem Philly, and we couldn't be happier with the cultural experiences in the Lehigh Valley! See More

I went to The Steel Stacks Blues Festival on March 26, 2017. It was Fabulous! The Brunch was amazing! The entertainers were extraordinary! My friend and I got to meet Victor Wainwright and Ana Popovic.... I got my picture taken with both of them! The Arts Quest staff took photos of us guests with Ana Popovic; those photos were on the Arts Quest website. It was a wonderful day of music, food and fun. Five stars for the Arts Quest Staff. Btw....Ana and Victor performed many times on a Blues Cruise I was on last October, but I didn't get to meet them until I went to the Steel Stacks Blues Festival in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. I didn't know I had such amazing opportunities for entertainment right here at home. 🎶🌠🎸🎼🎹🍹🍽🍻🥓🍞🍳🥗🍇🍉⭐️👏🏼😃😍❤️ See More

I have never had a bad or poor experience at the Steel Stacks. Step Outdoors Lehigh Valley was a fun and outdoor educational event for children. We also participated in the Autism Speaks 5k walk and i...t was put together perfectly. I will continue to go to events here. It is a family friendly environment. The walk of the Steel Stacks is amazing too! That's a must do walk through! See More

We went for the peep hunt 8yr & 10yr. I watched a child get slightly trampled before they stopped for a minute. The first 20kids had 10 or more boxes of peeps while the rest got none so the workers ha...nded them 2 boxes till they ran out. (A few kids got none) I realize it's a hunt but maybe limit the amount you can grab so all kids get something. I mean really how many peeps can a family eat. Unfortunately my kids didn't enjoy themselves being pushed & shoved so I guess it was our first & last time. See More

I've been attending the shows since they started. It's one of my favorite venues in the Lehigh Valley. Free concerts all summer long. You can't beat that! Bring your chair, buy a drink and a snack, an...d settle in for a great show. The backdrop is amazing as well. See More

I realize that the peeps hunt for Easter is free but it was not a pleasant experience--there was no signage about the wrist bands--the crowd was crazy and kids got traumatized and trampled for their m...arshmallows! Would have been nicer if they culled the hunts to smaller groups--and if there was an ice cream truck or beverage stand open! See More

It's always a great experience at SteelStacks. Many local and varied events are held here. We also go for the PeasnQs events as well. The building is designed beautifully. Plenty of seating throughout... the building with great scenery of the former Bethlehem Steel. A lot of parking. The movie seats are so comfortable. In regards to concessions they have limited but the most ordered selections such as soda, pretzels, chips, hot dogs and more. See More

The peeps fest wasn't that great. My daughter enjoyed getting the peeps, but there was no crowd control, the staff running the event weren't communicating because nobody was on the same page as far as... the age groups, and many people couldn't find their kids, including myself, after they were done because parents weren't listening to instructions. They need a better organized system next year, but we definitely won't be there. See More

Come check out two of the Valley's most animated improv teams!

Cat Sweaters is a high energy longform improv team who spent nearly two years as a SteelStacks Improv Comedy Power Hour team. They are three-time SteelStacks Improv Comedy Festival and two-time Del Close Marathon performers.

The team consists of:
Jeremy Ballin
Samantha Beedle

The Flumplenarfs are misunderstood. Sure, they live under your bed, but they’re far from scary. Don’t you dare call them monsters, they just want to make people happy. To prove it, the Flumplenarfs perform improv comedy inspired by something you’re afraid of – a tried and true Flumplenarf technique that’s guaranteed to help you conquer your silly, human fear.

The Two Show Show is an hour-long program featuring two different shows, each directed by a different Lehigh Valley-based performer. They happen whenever we feel like it, though this one is every month.
