Absolutely the best metal art sculpture work I have ever seen. His resemblance of actual fish,butterflies and his Eagle piece are not to be found anywhere.

As a metal artist myself all I can say is Steve’s work is world class.

Countless hours in cleaning up and defining all the nooks and crannies on this stainless #walleye head. Now to get the opposite side of the head done so I can polish it. Stay tuned.....

Steve Nielsen built this sculpture for the city of Oroville California. The project took over 2,000 hours to complete the 6.5ft wingspan eagle with over 4,000 feathers. Nielsen started early 2009 and worked on it off and on, completing it May 2013. The eagle can be seen during business hours at the Oroville city hall.
