He wanted to be a cop. Emmet knew damn well what type of cop he will be. People called them paper cops because they always take the side where money flow. People despise them, but they have some sort of authority and Emmet always was able to make some credits in the time of need. It was the perfect place for a person like Emmet, who refused to see all bad things around. But he miscalculated. Caught in his own miserable loop, he stopped paying attention to surrounding world as well as to himself. He takes dirty money, because it is a thing he always did, not because he needs it. In a world where everyone is free to choose the life one wants, Emmet chose to be a paper cop. PenWo corp. always has some dirty things to clear and today they pay best.

Amba System Net got recognition only after Preacher Riots. When plague and drug crazed mob simultaneously hit multiple corporate territories, security mobilized for the last ditch defense but… never got a chance to make a single shot. Cheap and ungainly robots had only microcket launcher and a tentacle-whip each. However PenWo’s penny pinchers did not scrimp on software - perfectly coordinated Ambas did not waste a single round or a whiplash and mowed down wave after wave of attackers.
PenWo were quick to capitalize on infamous bloodbath. Ambas’ got a facelift and promotion – since then one can see them at every important corp borderline and building entrance. Humble security bots became status symbol.

Project IX, brainchild of Alfred Noah, was conceived as means to bring up to speed 2nd Wave’s military capabilities. By that time civil cyborgs were abundant and of course there were quite a few tries to use them for a clandestine purposes. All experiments went askew until “mother of cyborgs” Ailise Walking Stone took charge. When Project IX hit the streets, Alfred’s expectations were met and exceeded.

What some time ago was known as simple security alarm now is developed into a device called motion detector. It‘s a portable device that allows to set a certain perimeter and not only alerts the owner about any breaches but also highlights trespassers through augmented reality, making them clearly visible even in pitch black darkness. Not to mention, it can easily be set it to ignore breaches from family members or pets.

During our trip to #Gamescom we've spotted some amazing, #cyberpunk projects. We want to share some of the things we saw.
Here's State of Mind by Martin Ganteföhr and Daedalic Entertainment. In his futuristic vision, author questions the inevitable future. Should we embrace it, or perhaps we should do everything in our power to avoid it. Serious and truly beautiful game for serious and mature fans of adventure.

Corporative business woman who always reaches her goals. Christie "buffet" Butrim.

Rumors say that before PenWo corp. Christie was a waitress at a simple diner. Nobody could tell whether it is true, cause nobody could deny her excellent business skills and ability to make money. How is she achieving her goals no one can tell either, but we can‘t deny that beauty is really one of greatest qualities a woman can master. Christie’s opinion matters to many people now, and her actions influence even more. She shuts up every opposition and every enemy she encounters. But people have long tongues and when the big boss could not hear call her Christie “Buffet.”
