In our meeting this month of our 1200+ members we're delighted This month we're delighted our long-time member Michelle Holliday from Cambium Consulting (http://www.cambiumconsulting.com). Her wo...rk centres around “thrivability” — based on a view of organizations as living systems — which is entirely aligned with other terms used in this group - strongly sustainable, thriving, resilient, regenerative, future-fit, flourishing etc!

Her work can be described as "thriving organizational development", bring into practice ideas from our member David Cooperrider recent article on Flourishing Organizational Development (see https://www.linkedin.com/…/5005…/5005769-6324225096974114817)

Michelle's recent book, The Age of Thrivability: Perspectives and Practices for a Thriving World, is a wonderfully warm, inviting and broad introduction to these ideas, compared to other our members have, one might say, "gone deep" - for example, Daniel Christian Wahl (http://wiki.ssbmg.com/meeting/2017-07-11), Simon Robinson (http://wiki.ssbmg.com/meeting/2016-12-13) and Giles Hutchins (https://www.linkedin.com/…/5005…/5005769-6230389022552838146)

"This is a great roadmap to show how quickly we need to wean ourselves off emitting CO2 if we're to ensure our grandkids have a shot at the kind of life we all enjoy. Anyone who reads this and thinks it all sounds impossible should also check out http://drawdown.org - an awesome and rea...lly well researched study of the best 100 solutions to climate change, that can make this roadmap a reality. I'm lucky enough to be co-hosting an event for 80 thought leaders in this space next week, including Paul Hawken, the force behind Drawdown. Wish me luck!"

Good luck Geoff!
