More or less daily I go to Broomhill library and further and further I'm disappointed with the staff there. They are really bad souls and because I'm foreign they are struggling to expel me from ther...e. I m a peaceful man, I didn't and don't disturb anything or anyone but they are avid to catch me in false to ban me for ever. In the last two weeks the police came around called by David to show me power and intimidation ( they call the police because one computer wasn't working!!!) Other time the police parked in front my van to block me in the car park, again David called them . The Police did say anything but severe racism is in the air. Today the lady in charge ( I think her name is Margaret) asked me to remove my van from the front corridor, and promptly I did. They treat me as a vile extra-terrestrial. Unacceptable. See More

I love how they always have lots of events for the children, especially the teens. We drive all the way from Smithfield to come here.

On February 12, 1973, this great and heroic native of Suffolk was released from captivity after serving 7 years as a POW (prisoner of war) during the Vietnam War. He was an air force pilot, first black POW, and after his retirement from active duty, a successful businessman. Who was this great man? #tbt #throwbackthursday #localhistory #suffolkva #bhm #aahm
